Check out AGS's website for a lot of fanmade adventure games:

Now other than KQ1 and KQ2, there aren't a lot of good remakes out there.
There's a promising-looking KQ3 in the works, but their site hasn't been updated in ages:

KQ4, even greater frozen status:

This site chronicles a lot of Sierra remakes, but likewise hasn't been updated in forever:

Finally, there's the KQ9 fangame that has been receiving a lot of buzz on this site:

So basically other than KQ1 + KQ2, no great "remakes". My advice would be don't hold your breath on any of these, instead play some great LucasArts or the tons of other old adventure games out there. If you need help finding any PM me and I'll help you out.
