Unfortunately, a lot of the older games are going to be hard for people to get. Sam & Max is harder to find than Shadow of Destiny.
It might be worth putting it to a vote, and letting the people who plan to participate vote based on which games they own or can easily obtain. It doesn't really matter who owns what, if those people aren't planning to play along, anyway.
