You know, I actually like that kind of "story uncovering". What I dislike is mandatory story uncovering. Why should the game prevent you from continuing just because you missed some insignificant detail you weren't interested in?! This extra depth should always be optional.

Oh, and by the way, thanks for that "death of adventure games" article.
