I don't know why they protected the demo with starforce. I went to download the demo and there was a warning on the page 'This demo contains Starforce Copy Protection. Install at your own risk'. Given awful experiences I had with starforce before, I googled it and found that it is indeed the case therefore I didn't try it. I think it is safe to assume that the release version will be protected by Starforce.
