There was a movie made specifically about the life of Ed Gein a few years ago, but I don't think it got a theatrical release.
The people of the town in Wisconsin near where Gein lived weren't at all happy about this movie being made, and they tried to block it's release.

They didnt like when they used his house as a museum either. They burned it down.
