It looks like Kubrick was on crack, actually. If that's his point, then millions have missed it. Though, in all seriousness, I'm aware that's the point, I just disagree the movie needs it. As odd as the statement may sound.
Coincidentially, most other Kubrick movies make me want to strangle someone.
