Good call. Not long after I first met Doug (he introduced himself to me) he expressed to me his idea of photographing me as if I
were sculpture (which explains the severe lighting). He wanted deep contrasts, and for the session he rubbed baby oil all over me to help get that. It was interesting, with other models it was more about anatomical aesthetics (I was floored by how damnably beautiful those men were, with their chiseled bodies and good looks), but with me he wanted something entirely different.
