An Aussie friend of mine says the trick to eating Vegemite is to use it very sparingly. Just spread about half the amount of Vegemite as you would butter, and it's not bad.
I haven't tried it yet, but since I like most other salty or savory flavors, I'll probably like Vegemite as well.
