I and umpteen million Brits just can't be wrong. Monty Python's work is funny, but not all bits appeal to all people. Perhaps you'd find "Life Of Brian", or better yet, "The Meaning Of Life" more to your liking, as they are geared more to American tastes in comedy than "In Search Of The Holy Grail".
