Or, with a little clever programming using one channel for the left eye and one channel for the right eye, we could have the true 3D virtual reality gaming experience we were promised so long ago.

How would that work, I wonder? Would you have to cross your eyes to get the 3D effect? Or stare at it like one of those Magic Eye pictures?
