That's interesting 'cause I think the opposite. I don't much like Gamespot because their reviews (and many of the articles) are too mechanical and bare bones, and I feel they're out of touch with games and gaming in relation to everything else happening around the world. The way they go about seems hermetic, cut off. To me they have anything BUT personality, they're clinical and arid.
However, I do love their news reporting, they're always up to date.
