For hip hop I like:

Mos Def
Deltron 3030
Quasimoto
Dr. Octagon
RJD2
DJ Krush

I've never really gotten into punk rock. Fugazi has done some nice sounding stuff. As has Dead Kennedies, Dead Milkmen, and the Pogues, but I'm not sure if they're considered punk.
