Ben & Jerry's used to do "free cone day" (maybe they still do?) one day every spring. There was a Ben & Jerry's on my college campus and everyone used to flock down there... the line would be out the door and around the corner.

Some ice cream trivia for you
Do you know that Ben & Jerry studied making icecream at my old alma mater's (pennstate) creamery. I've never had a better ice cream than the one they have in PSU;s creamery 8-)
