You gotta understand guys, Quad lives in Rochester, which is in upstate New York and it is an annual event there to get buried in snow in Winter. They have to deal with what they call lake effect snow. Lake Effect snow happens when a cold artic air mass rushes over the relatively warm water of the Great Lakes and as it makes land fall dumps a ton of snow. Lake effect snows are known to produce a foot of snow within a few hours. Unless you're a kid, there's really nothing romantic or fun about those.
