I totasally disagree that pure adventure games cannot be scary. They might not have the "Boo, I got you" moments the Resident Evil series is famous for but games like Amber:Jorneys Beyond, Blackstone Chronicles, and Dark Fall are all very scary games. I'm a coward by nature so it took me a while to comeplte those three games becasue at many points, the fear factor was so oppresive that I had to stop playing them.
