I hate to be the first one that doesn't love the new design, but there are a few things about it that irk me. Ok, it's not a few.. it's just one. The background, I think, should be a light color and not a dark one. something like the background of this page (the very very back background). I tested it in firefox, and with a border around the main content page, probably like the border that is already around the right hand nav but just around the entire page, I think it looks much better. I might be the only person that feels this way, but I just thought I would chime in with a little constructive critisim.

Some positive things would definitely have to be the new content layout. I like the way it looks and reads. The hype-o-meter is also nice, the images are great. Overall the page i just much more readable, good job!
