SAN FRANCISCO

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

INTRO

The intro shows you, Zak McKracken, sneaking onboard an aircraft.  Someone is after you, and you have to hide from them. 

Remember to SAVE often, using different Save Slots. 

AIRCRAFT

After the intro, your adventure begins in an aircraft, several hundred miles above ground.  You are being hunted by the immigration authorities, who will kill you if they find you.  You have to hide… QUICKLY!!! 

Walk left, to the junk on top of the cabinet.  Look at the junk to find a FUSE.  Open cabinet on the left, and pick up the LEVER.  Open the box on the left, and search the box to find some PETROLEUM JELLY.  Look at TARP near the upper-right, and pick up TARP.  Use LEVER in mechanism in the middle of the floor.  Use PETROLEUM JELLY with the mechanism to grease the hinges, then pull the LEVER - the cargo hatch opens part-way, but then the fuse blows, so it can’t open any further.  Look at the fuse box next to the red scanning device.  Open the fuse box, then use your FUSE with the fuse box to fix it.  The cargo hatch opens all the way now.  Try to jump through the cargo hatch to escape, but it’s too dangerous.  Use TARP with the cargo hatch, to use it as a PARACHUTE.  Now jump down through the cargo hatch.  However, just as you are getting ready to jump, someone knocks you over the head.  You wake up, hours later, back at home. 

ZAK’S APARTMENT

You’re in your Bedroom.  Hmm, you have a huge bump on your head, so that incident in the aircraft wasn’t a dream.  It really happened!  But how?  Maybe Annie would know?  Explore your Bedroom.  Look at the lamp next to your bed.  Pull the cord to turn the lamp on… nothing happened!  The bulb must have blown.  Take BROKEN LIGHT BULB from the lamp.  When you’re ready, open door on the left, and head through to the Living Room. 

Explore your Living Room.  For a bit of fun, use the TV to see an advert about dog food.  Pick up the seat cushion from the settee, and you find a BUTTER KNIFE.  Look at the key cabinet next to your front door.  Open the key cabinet, and take MAILBOX KEY.  Look at phone on the wall to hear a message from your mum. 

Explore the Kitchen area on the right.  Use BUTTER KNIFE with the jam jar on the counter to get SLATHERED BUTTER KNIFE.  Look at the fridge, and look at the note on the fridge.  It’s got a number on it - 1138.  If only you could remember who that number belongs to.  When you’ve finished exploring, open your front door, and leave your apartment. 

Watch the cut scene in the Egyptian pyramid. 

13TH AVENUE STREET

Look at the mailbox next to your door to discover that you have mail.  Use MAILBOX KEY with the mailbox to open it, and collect the POSTCARD from Annie.  Wait a minute… the POSTCARD says that Annie is on her honeymoon in Waikiki.  She got married, and didn’t even tell you???  When you’ve got over the shock, look at the baguettes and pie crusts in the bakery window.  Ring the bell button on the bakery’s door 3 times.  The baker clearly doesn’t appreciate you disturbing him - he appears at his window, and starts shooting at you!  Wait a minute… he was shooting cookies at you, not bullets.  How strange!  You automatically pick up the CARTRIDGE-SHAPED COOKIES from the ground, and it becomes COOKIE MUSH.  Now look at the Artificial Hair Company Barber on the right.  Open the door to Artificial Hair Company, and enter it. 

ARTIFICIAL HAIR COMPANY

Stanislav greets you warmly.  He tries - and fails - to persuade you to buy a wig.  When he’s finished his sales pitch, work through all the dialogue with him.  When conversation is over, explore the shop.  Look at wigs on the wall, and notice the lamp underneath the green wig.  It uses the same bulb as your lamp in the bedroom.  Take the lamp, and you’ll get a WORKING BULB.  Look at BARBER’S MAGAZINE on the table, and take BARBER’S MAGAZINE.  Look at the head of bust skull in the wall.  MURRAY!!!  Talk to the skull, and work through all the dialogue with him.  Take LARGE COAT HOOK from the clothes hanger in the foreground.  When you’ve finished exploring, leave the barber shop. 

13TH AVENUE STREET

Return to your apartment. 

ZAK’S APARTMENT

Walk left, into your bedroom. 

Look at the lamp next to your bed, and use WORKING BULB with the lamp.  Watch the cut scene.  Now pull the chord on the lamp to turn it on.  Now you have some light in that area, so open the upper drawer in your bedside cabinet, and look in the drawer to find some PLAYING CARDS.  Look at the PLAYING CARDS in your Inventory, and you find your CASHCARD.  Leave your bedroom. 

Look at the BARBER’S MAGAZINE in your Inventory to see an advert for a cab company.  Use BARBER’S MAGAZINE with the phone on your living room wall to call for a cab.  When you’re ready, leave your apartment. 

13TH AVENUE STREET

The taxi is waiting for you outside.  Talk to the taxi driver, and use the following dialogue option. 

        -       To the offices of the National Infiltrator, please. 

Watch the cut scene. 

OFFICES OF THE NATIONAL INFILTRATOR

You soon arrive at the National Infiltrator Offices.  This is where your newspaper is based.  Look at the tree growing through the building.  Look at the curtain hanging on the window on the 1st Floor.  Look at the chain of lights illuminating the door.  Enter the office. 

Talk to Jerry and work through all the dialogue with him.  Pick up SUSHI IN A BOWL from Jerry’s desk.  When Jerry has turned away from you, try to get his TITAN CUTTER KNIFE, but he always demands it back from you.  Maybe you could trick him?  Wait until he is turned away from you again, then swap your BUTTER KNIFE for his TITAN CUTTER KNIFE.  Jerry sees the jam-splattered BUTTER KNIFE, and thinks it’s blood.  He has flashbacks to when he was a surgeon, and runs off to the Emergency Room. 

Look at cabinet on the left and take LIGHTER from on top of the cabinet.  Talk to Deborah the secretary and work through all the dialogue with her.  Search the bin at Deborah’s desk to find BALLED-UP NEWSPAPER CLIPPING.  Look at BALLED-UP NEWSPAPER CLIPPING to read about the missing architects in Mexico.  It’s a good lead for you to check out.  Explore the office, and when you’re ready, leave the office. 

Talk to the taxi driver, and use the following dialogue option. 

        -       To the airport please. 

SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT

Explore the airport.  Move the seat cushion from the settee on the left, and pick up AUDIO TAPE that had fallen underneath the cushion.  Look at the AUDIO TAPE to see that it’s damaged.  Use your CASHCARD with the Ticket Machine, and buy a ticket to Mexico.  Now walk left to board the plane. 

AIRPLANE

The Stewardess is rather grumpy!  She won’t even give you a cup of coffee.  Look at the sleeping passenger in front of you.  Remove his fake beard to see a number - 1138.  Look at the suitcase next to the sleeping passenger, and use the code 1138 to open it.  Take the GLOWING OBJECT from the suitcase - it becomes a FLUORESCING SUBSTANCE in your Inventory.  Open all the overhead compartments until you find a WHITE BLANKET.  Take the WHITE BLANKET.  Walk right into the Stewardess’s area. 

Talk to the Stewardess and work through all the dialogue with her.  She gives you a SLEEPING PILL.  Push the pill to crush it, and turn it into PULVERISED SLEEPING PILL.  In your Inventory, use FLUORESCING SUBSTANCE with the BLANKET to create BLANKET, INTENSELY FLUORESCING.  Walk left, back into the passenger area. 

Look at all the other passengers, then continue left, and enter the Rest Room. 

The Stewardess harasses you, and won’t let you use the facilities, since it’s blocked.  She sells you a very expensive CHAMBER POT, and expects you to use that instead.  Now leave the Rest Room. 

In your Inventory, mix PULVERISED SLEEPING PILL into your CAN OF PEANUTS to get PEANUTS WITH SOPORIFIC.  Give PEANUTS WITH SOPORIFIC to the old woman in pink to make her fall asleep.  Now close all the windows, then walk right into the Stewardess’s area. 

Use BLANKET, INTENSELY FLUORESCING with the Stewardess.  You use the blanket to dress up like a ghost, scaring the Stewardess and making her faint.  Now you can finally make the cup of coffee you’ve been wanting since the start of the flight.  Your flight finally comes to an end.

MEXICO

MEXICO AIRPORT

Explore the airport.  When you’re ready, walk right to leave the airport. 

DIG SITE

Walk left to the excavation site. 

EXCAVATION SITE

Explore the area.  Look at the pile of bones on the table.  Pick up a BONE, and keep picking up BONES until you can’t get any more.  You’ll end up with LOTS AND LOTS OF BONES and a MEDIUM SIZED SKULL.  Notice the CROWBAR on top of the scaffolding.  Push the scaffolding, then pick up the CROWBAR that falls to the ground.  Use the CROWBAR on the blinds at the back of the bulldozer to open it.  Now open the first-aid kit, and take the STICKY TAPE.  Use STICKY TAPE on the AUDIO TAPE to stick the broken ends of the tape together.  Use YELLOW CRAYON with AUDIO TAPE to wind it in, so you can record on it.  Take the SMALL SPADE that’s in the sand on the right.  When you’re ready, walk up into the cave. 

CAVE

After a short cut scene, you arrive at the scout camp. 

SCOUT CAMP

Look at the winch on the gate - you need a crank to use it.  Try to take the CRANK that’s lying next to the dog.  But every time you got near the dog, it snarls and barks at you.  Walk down, to a clearing.  

JUNGLE CLEARING

You’ve now reached a small jungle clearing, with paths leading off in all directions.  But the paths all lead back to here.  Look at the skeleton, and take BOX OF COOKIES from the skeleton.  You end up with the skeleton’s HAND BONE, as well.  Open BOX OF COOKIES to find a COCKROACH.  EWWW!!!  Look at BIRD’S NEST in the tree, and take BIRD’S NEST.  When you’re ready, go back up the upper-right path, where you came from. 

SCOUT CAMP

Walk right through the jungle, back to the excavation site. 

EXCAVATION SITE

Look at the pit in the ground, in front of the bulldozer.  You are attacked by a weird plant-type monster, and you run away. 

After returning to the area, you see the plant-monster is now asleep.  Look at the plant’s head to see that there’s something trapped in there.  Use CROWBAR with the plant’s head to force it open.  Wow, you found the missing archaeologists.  Work through all the dialogue with them.  When conversation is over, walk left to the dig site. 

DIG SITE

Climb up the pyramid stairs, to the top of the dome. 

PYRAMID DOME TEMPLE

Look at sarcophagus, and look at statue on top of the sarcophagus.  Notice the Ankh symbol on the left of the sarcophagus.  Look at plants on the right.  Look at weathered markings on the wall with the plants.  Use your YELLOW CRAYON with the weathered markings, and copy the Ankh symbol you saw.  Press the small stone at the bottom right.  If you did it correctly, the wall will open up, revealing a doorway.  Enter through the doorway, into the Temple. 

It’s dark in here.  Look at the bowl pedestal in middle of the room, and use your LIGHTER with the bowl pedestal to light it up.  Now you’ve got some light in the room.  Notice the PURPLE CRYSTAL in the column on the left.  Take the PURPLE CRYSTAL from the column.  After the cut scene, you’re trapped in the temple.  How are you going to get out? 

Look at the 2 metal plates and torches on each side of the room.  Push both torches, and the metal plate on the left slides open.  Look at the strange markings, and look at the scribble that was hidden behind the metal plate.  You read the inscription - I hope it can help you figure out what’s going on.  Talk to the metal plate on the right.  You automatically speak the phrase you saw in the scribble, and a secret compartment is opened up.  Take BIG HUMAN SKULL and take SMALL HUMAN SKULL from the secret compartment.  Now replace the human skulls back in the secret compartment, in this order. 

        -       Small Human Skull

        -       Big Human Skull

        -       Medium Human Skull (that you’ve been carrying for a while)

Yet another secret compartment is revealed.  You see another skull in here, and it looks just like a Capoinian skull.  Take ELONGATE SKULL from this secret compartment.  Watch the cut scene. 

Look at the stone cavity in the statue, and use COOKIE MUSH in the stone cavity.  It cooks your COOKIE MUSH into a GIANT COOKIE

Look at the carved strange plate stone in the floor on the left.  Open the carved strange plate stone to find a U-SHAPED STONE.  Now look at the strange depression in the sacrificial pedestal, and insert your U-SHAPED STONE into the strange depression.  The door to the Temple opens again, so simply walk down to leave the Temple. 

Climb down the stairs to the dig site. 

DIG SITE

Walk left to the excavation site. 

EXCAVATION SITE

Walk up through the cave, to the scout camp. 

SCOUT CAMP

Give GIANT COOKIE to the dog.  With his mouth full of cookie, he can’t bite you now.  Pick up the CRANK next to the dog, and use CRANK in the winch on the fence.  Now use the winch to wind open the gate, and walk into the camp. 

Talk to both scouts sitting at the campfire, and work through all the dialogue with them.  Look at the boreal owl in the tree on the left.  Now talk to the scout in the pit and work through all the dialogue with him.  When conversation is over, use AUDIO TAPE in the Hi-Fi system next to William (the scout in the pit).  The boreal owl lays an egg, then flies away.  Look at the egg, and try to pick up the egg.  A FEATHER will land up in the nest.  Pity it’s too high up for you to reach.  Look at the pipe next to the nest, and use the pipe to blow the FEATHER down to the ground.  Pick up the FEATHER.  Now use the FEATHER with the BIRD’S NEST to make BIRD’S NEST WITH FEATHER.   It almost looks like a hat.  There’s nothing else you can do here, so walk right to the excavation site. 

EXCAVATION SITE

Walk left to the dig site. 

DIG SITE

Use the pick-up truck to go back to the airport. 

MEXICO AIRPORT

Use your CASHCARD with the Ticket Machine, and buy a TICKET to Honolulu.  Walk left to board the plane.

HONOLULU, WAIKIKI

WAIKIKI AIRPORT

You arrive at Honolulu airport in Waikiki.  This is where Annie is on her honeymoon.  Explore the airport.  Look at NEWSPAPER on the table, and pick up the NEWSPAPER.  When you’re ready, walk right to leave the airport. 

BEACH

You take a taxi to the beach.  Look at the Welcome Sign on the hut.  Look at the Cabana Guy, and look at the poster on the hut behind him.  Apparently, you need a Club Card before you can enter the beach.  Maybe you can persuade him to let you in anyway?  Give BIRD’S NEST WITH FEATHER to the Cabana Guy, and he uses it like a hat.  You now have access to the beach.  Walk right a few steps, talk to Annie, and work through all the dialogue with her.  Give NEWSPAPER to Annie, and she gives you her BOOK OF GOOD MANNERS in return.  Look at the sleeping Jacques.  Why on earth did Annie marry him?  Use your SMALL SPADE with Jacques, and you bury him in a sandcastle.  Choose any dialogue option with Annie, and you convince her that Jacques has left her.  After she leaves the beach, head left, and go to the airport. 

WAIKIKI AIRPORT

Use your CASHCARD with the Ticket Machine, and buy a TICKET to Paris.  Walk left to board the plane.

PARIS

PARIS AIRPORT

Explore the airport.  Pick up FRENCH MOUSTACHE from the bench.  Walk right to leave the airport. 

LE PECHAUR MERVEILLIEUX RESTAURANT

You search Paris, looking for Dr Levy, and eventually you end up at Le Pechaur Merveillieux Restaurant.  Open the door, and enter the restaurant. 

Talk to the Waiter and work through all the dialogue with him.  Talk to the guest at the upper-right table, who turns out to be Dr Levy.  Agree to pay his tab for him.  However, the restaurant won’t accept your CASHCARD.  Leave the restaurant. 

Walk up alley on the right. 

ALLEY

Explore the alley.  Look through the window to see the chef.  Knock on the kitchen door, and work through all the dialogue with the chef who answers the door.  No matter what you say, you won’t be able to get into the kitchen.  Let’s try something different, then.  SAVE YOUR GAME HERE.  Use COCKROACH with the window - this distracts the chef inside, who leaves his post to chase after the cockroach.  Open (don’t knock, or you’ll have to deal with the waiter) the kitchen door and enter the kitchen. 

KITCHEN

You need to stop the chef from throwing you out of his kitchen.  So close the storeroom door (not the hooks on the door), then use CROWBAR on the door to block it.  The chef can’t get out now.  Move the stool so it’s at the door, and then pick up the SILVERFISH from the placard above the door.  Take RUBBER SEAL from the cabinet under the sink.  Use your CHAMBER POT with the stock pot of soup to get a bowl of SOUP.  Now leave the kitchen. 

ALLEY

Now you need to get the waiter busy here, so you can explore the restaurant at the front.  Knock on the kitchen door, and use the following dialogue with the waiter. 

        -       I spent some time in Lefty’s Bar before. 

The waiter will ask you to balance a tray of plates, so he can test your skills.  You fail of course, and drop the tray.  The waiter will be busy clearing up your mess for a while.  Walk left, back to the front of the restaurant. 

LE PECHAUR MERVEILLIEUX RESTAURANT

Enter the restaurant again. 

Since the waiter is busy in the kitchen, talk to the guest at the middle table, and give him BOOK OF GOOD MANNERS.  After a conversation about soup, use the FRENCH MOUSTACHE to disguise yourself.  Now give bowl of SOUP to the guest at the middle table.  Watch the cut scene, as the guest complains about the soup. 

The waiter is now out of action.  Talk to Dr Levy at the upper-right table and work through all the dialogue with him.  When conversation is over, leave the restaurant. 

Walk left to the airport. 

PARIS AIRPORT

Use your CASHCARD with the Ticket Machine, and buy a TICKET to Scotland.  Walk left to board the plane.

SCOTLAND AIRPORT

You soon arrive in Bonny Scotland.  Explore the airport, and when you’re ready, head up through the door to leave the airport. 

LAKE

Explore the area.  Talk to the fisherman and work through all the dialogue with him.  It seems that he’s using the wrong bait to catch fish.  Give your SILVERFISH to the fisherman.  He gives you his FISHING ROD, and asks you to find a bigger hook.  Use your TITAN CUTTER KNIFE with your LARGE COAT HOOK to create a large FISHING HOOK.  Combine FISHING HOOK with the FISHING ROD to get FISHING ROD WITH LARGE HOOK.  Give this to the fisherman.  Watch the cut scene, then work through all the dialogue with the fisherman.  Look at the hairy fish on the ground.  Take FISHING ROD WITH LARGE HOOK that’s next to the fisherman.  Now you need to create a disguise, so use your TITAN CUTTER KNIFE with the hairy fish to get some FISH HAIR.  Walk right to return to the airport. 

SCOTLAND AIRPORT

Use your CASHCARD with the Ticket Machine, and buy a TICKET to San Francisco.  Walk left to leave the airport.

SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT

Walk right to leave the airport.  You get a choice of where to go next, to go to home to 13TH Avenue Street. 

13TH AVENUE STREET

Walk right a few steps to the Artificial Hair Bros barbers.  Look at the poster in the window to see some clues about Elvis.  Now enter Artificial Hair Bros on the right. 

ARTIFICIAL HAIR BROS

Talk to Stanislav.  Remember, you’re trying to disguise yourself as the King, so that the aliens won’t recognise you.  Use the following dialogue options. 

        -       Alright, I get it!  I need a wig! 

        -       I’m older than you might think! 

        -       I own a business.

        -       Elvis Presley!  No one was cooler! 

        -       Mystic areas, shrouded in legend.

        -       Kicking back in a pink Cadillac!  My lifelong dream! 

        -       Classic black never goes out of style!

Watch a very long cut scene - eventually, Stanislav gives you a BLACK WIG.  When you’re ready, leave the shop.   

13TH AVENUE STREET

Enter your apartment on the left. 

ZAK’S APARTMENT

Watch the cut scene.  Walk into your kitchen area.  Let’s put together your disguise now.  Use TITAN CUTTER KNIFE with ELONGATE SKULL to create SCOOPED-OUT CAPONIAN’S SKULL.  Add RUBBER SEAL to SCOOPED-OUT CAPONIAN’S SKULL.  Use jam jar on the counter with your SKULL WITH RUBBER SEAL FROM PICKLE JAR to make it sticky.  Your TV will flicker with static electricity.  Use your TV and watch the interview with the game designers (the designers that created the original Zak McKracken game).  The people in the interview seem to think they have some kind of connection to you, through the world of computer games.  Now add HAIRDO “POMPADOUR” WIG to SKULL WITH JAM AND RUBBER SEAL to create the perfect CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE

Watch the cut scene, and experience a severe feeling of deja-vu. 

AIRCRAFT

You’re trapped on a plane… the same plane you were on at the start of the game.  You have to escape, before the Caponians find you.  You’ve done it before, you can do it again. 

You need to prevent the Caponians from getting here.  Look at the red scanner next to the door, and look at the ventilation slots above the scanner.  Pour your COFFEE CUP into the ventilation shaft to short-circuit the scanner.  Now the Caponians can’t get in.  Walk left, to the junk on top of the cabinet.  Look at the junk to find a FUSE.  Open cabinet on the left, and pick up the LEVER.  You still have your PETROLEUM JELLY, so no need to search the box on the left again. 

Look at TARP near the upper-right, and pick up TARP.  Use LEVER in mechanism in the middle of the floor.  Use PETROLEUM JELLY with the mechanism to grease the hinges, then pull the LEVER - the cargo hatch opens part-way, but then the fuse blows, so it can’t open any further.  Look at the fuse box next to the red scanning device.  Open the fuse box, then use your FUSE with the fuse box to fix it.  The cargo hatch opens all the way now.  Try to jump through the cargo hatch to escape, but it’s too dangerous.  Use TARP with the cargo hatch, to use it as a PARACHUTE.  Now jump down through the cargo hatch.  This time, you manage to jump out of the plane before you are caught, and glide down to safety, thanks to your home-made PARACHUTE

ZURICH

CRASH SITE

You lost a lot of items as you jumped out of the plane.  Let’s hope you won’t need that stuff again. 

Notice the leaky hose.  Look at the bulky waste on the ground, then look at all the items on the ground.  Pick up the LEAKING WATERING CAN.  Look at the tree on the right, push the tree, and pick up the HORSE CHESTNUT that falls from the tree.  Open the HORSE CHESTNUT to get OPEN CHESTNUT.  Now walk down to the woodland path. 

WOODLAND PATH

Look at the Warning Sign.  Nice!  Take CHEWING GUM from the Warning Sign.  It’s rock-hard, so you need to use the CHEWING GUM to chew it, and make it into CHEWED CHEWING GUM.  Use CHEWED CHEWING GUM on your LEAKING WATERING CAN to repair it.  Pick up Y-SHAPED BRANCH from the fence on the left.  Look at the blue chaff cutter - it’s a wood chipper.  Now look at the carnivorous plant.  It looks like it wants to eat you.  Look at the termites on the plant, and pick up the termites.  Watch the very bizarre cut scene (hehehe). 

Now, try again, and ignore the termites this time.  Pick up the BAG OF FERTILISER from below the termites plant.  Use BAG OF FERTILISER in your WATERING CAN, then look at the resulting WATERING CAN WITH FERTILISER POWDER to realise that you need to add some water.  Take the PINWHEEL next to the carnivorous plant - you end up with a PINWHEEL top, and a HOLLOW BAMBOO PIECE.  Now walk left, back to the spot where you landed. 

CRASH SITE

Use WATERING CAN WITH FERTILISER POWDER with the leaky hose to get WATERING CAN WITH DISSOLVED FERTILISER.  Walk down to the woodland path.

Walk up to the edge of the forest. 

EDGE OF THE FOREST

There’s a very sad-looking Gardener, sitting on a log.  Talk to the Gardener and work through all the dialogue with him.  When conversation is over, push the Gardener, and pick up the WOODEN EYE that falls to the ground (ick!).  Also pick up the Gardener’s GREY WORK GLOVES that are lying on the log next to him.  Use the GREY WORK GLOVES with your HOLLOW BAMBOO PIECE to get BAMBOO WITH GLOVE.  Now give OPEN CHESTNUT to the Gardener, and tell him it’s his wooden eye - he won’t know the difference. 

Pick up some PEANUT SEEDS from the bag of seeds on the ground.  Look at plants in the ground to see that they’re in bad shape.  Walk right, back to the woodland path. 

WOODLAND PATH

Use WOODEN EYE in the wood chipper chaf cutter, then pick up the MAHOGANY SAWDUST that it produces.  Look at the green bench, and use BAMBOO WITH GLOVE with the green bench to get some GREEN COLOURED GLOVES.  Use TITAN CUTTER KNIFE with the GREEN COLOURED GLOVES - you end up with a CUT OFF GREEN THUMB, and a TOP OF TITAN CUTTER.  Walk up to the edge of the forest. 

EDGE OF THE FOREST

Show CUT OFF GREEN THUMB to the Gardener - he tells you all about his problems with fertilising the plants.  You should help the poor old man out!  Use WATERING CAN WITH DISSOLVED FERTILISER with the patch of land in the middle of the foreground, to water the plants, and make them grow.  You thought the Gardener would be pleased, however, it seems he wanted to grow potatoes, not peanuts!  There’s no pleasing some people!  Okay, open (not use) the patch of land to uncover a giant peanut, then pick up the PEANUT.  Walk right to the woodland path. 

WOODLAND PATH

Try to give the PEANUT to the carnivorous plant.  Okay, you need to remove your disguise first.  In your Inventory, simply use the FRENCH MOUSTACHE to remove it.  Now again, give the PEANUT to the carnivorous plant.  The carnivorous plant eats the peanut, then runs off, giving you access to the wooden hut.  Except, there’s no door to enter.  Give MAHOGANY SAWDUST to the termites plant, and you create a trail from the termites to the wooden hut.  Now climb through the wooden hut, and into the yard. 

YARD

Explore the area.  Look at the Loca vending machine, then push Loca vending machine, and take the CAN OF LOCA from the Loca vending machine.  Take CHAMOIS LEATHER from on top of the barrel.  Pick up BLUE DART that’s underneath the drain pipe (very hard to spot).  Pick up RED DART that’s between the yellow flowers on the ground and the turfed patch of soil (very hard to spot).  Pick up GREEN DART that’s on the ground, under the open window (very hard to spot).  Try to climb up to the open window, but it’s too high up for you to reach.  Now use your CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE to wear it, then walk round to the front of the house.  The guards mistake you for their leader, the King, and allow you to enter the house. 

HOUSE - GROUND FLOOR

Explore the house.  Look at the strange machine in the middle of the room.  Look at pot in front of the strange machine.  Pick up the pot - you just take the SHOOT OF CREEPING PLANT, and leave the pot behind.  Look at the IRON BAR on the shelves in the lower-right, and take the IRON BAR from the shelves.  Pick up CABLE from the floor, to the left of the strange machine.  When you’re ready, leave the building. 

YARD

Use SHOOT OF CREEPING PLANT in the turfed patch of soil to plant it.  Use WATERING CAN WITH DISOLVED FERTILISER with the turfed patch of soil to water it.  The creeping plant grew up towards the window, so simply enter through the window. 

HOUSE - 1ST FLOOR

Use your CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE to remove it.  Explore the room.  Look at the WORLD CONQUEST PLANS on the wall.  Oh no!  They’re planning to destroy Earth!  You MUST  stop them!  Take the WORLD CONQUEST PLANS from the wall.  Look at the SAT Receiver machine, and pull the lever at front of the machine to shut it down.  Watch the cut scene.  Pick up SCREDWDRIVER that’s on the same table as the SAT Receiver machine.  Look at cabinet on the left, and look at dartboard on the side of the cabinet - it has your picture on it.  Throw GREEN DARTRED DART, and BLUE DART at the dart board.  Wow, the dartboard was actually a mechanism, and by throwing the DARTS, you managed to open the door to their Teleporting Device.  Use CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE to wear it again, then walk up to the Teleporter. 

SPACESHIP - COMMAND CENTRE

As soon as you beam aboard the spaceship, explore the room.  Move the curtain on the left to reveal Audrey the alien plant.  You need to get rid of Audrey!  But how?  Look at the Security Door in the back wall, and exit the room through the Security Door. 

SPACESHIP - CORRIDOR

You find yourself in a long corridor.  Go through door on the right, in The King’s bedroom. 

SPACESHIP - BEDROOM

The King is sleeping in his bed, so don’t wake him up.  Explore the bedroom.  There’s a lot of pictures on the wall - move portrait of The King to reveal a hidden safe.  Take the BLUE CRYSTAL from the safe.  Now look at the jukebox, use the jukebox, and select the following track. 

        -       13.  Lullaby

Open cabinet on the left, and MOBILE TOY from the cabinet.  Look at the cord hanging from the ceiling, above The King’s bed, and tie MOBILE TOY onto the cord.  Use the MOBILE TOY to turn it on.  Open the curtain on the right, to see The King’s outfits.  Move all 3 of his outfits along the railing, then take the DUMMY that’s hanging from the railing.  Give DUMMY to The King.  He’s sleeping soundly now.  Pick up BENT PIECE OF METAL KEY from his chest.  Now leave the bedroom. 

SPACESHIP - CORRIDOR

Out in the corridor, look at the metal sheathing high up, on the wall on the right.  There’s something green behind the sheathing.  Open the metal sheathing, and look at the green slimy bag - is it an egg?  Use IRON BAR with the green slimy bag - you accidentally burst it open.  Pick up the STICKY SLIME

Look at the door on the left.  It doesn’t seem to open.  Look at the strange mechanism to the left of the door - this mechanism controls the door.  Insert BENT PIECE OF METAL KEY into the strange mechanism, then go through door on the left, into the Machine Room. 

SPACESHIP - MACHINE ROOM

Explore the room.  Look at the huge laser ray cannon - it‘s useless without a crystal.  Look at the box on the right, and open the box.  Push the button inside the box, to turn off the huge laser ray cannon.  Take GLOWING CRYSTAL from the huge laser ray cannon.  Now look at the laser beams on the right, and look at the hand-shaped switch next to the laser beams.  Use the switch to learn that it toggles the laser beams on and off.  However, it doesn’t stay off for very long.  In your Inventory, use the STICKY SLIME with the HAND BONE to get BONY HAND WITH SLIME, then use this with the hand-shaped switch.  The lasers are now deactivated.  Look at poor Roger Wilco in the cell.  Look at the longish object on the floor next to Roger Wilco, then pick it up. - it’s an EMPTY GLASS TUBE.  There’s nothing else you can do here, so leave the room.

Walk up to the Command Centre.

Walk right, into the Teleporter. 

HOUSE - 1ST FLOOR

You’re back in the house.  Climb out window on the right. 

YARD

Climb through hole in the fence, so you’re back at the Woodland Path. 

WOODLAND PATH

Use your CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE to remove it.  If you’ve lost your Y-SHAPED BRANCH, pick up more BRANCHES next to the blue chaff cutter wood chipper, so you get a Y-SHAPED BRANCH.  Walk left to the Crash Site. 

CRASH SITE

Look at machine on the left, to see that it’s rusty.  Use CAN OF LOCA on the machine to dissolve the rust.  Open the egg-shaped hood at the top of the machine, and place your PURPLE CRYSTAL inside the egg-shaped hood.  Now close the receptacle hood.  Use IRON BAR with the derusted machine, and it will act as a lever.  Use the lever, then push the lever, and you find yourself flying through time, into the Future. 

THE FUTURE

The future looks like Armageddon!  Explore the area.  Pick up the MUSHROOMS growing next to the burned-down house.  Look at your MUSHROOMS to realise that they’re poisonous.  Look at bomb in the foreground, and look at lid of the bomb.  Use CHAMOIS LEATHER with your SCREWDRIVER to get SCREWDRIVER WRAPPED IN SHAMMY, then use this with the lid on the bomb.  You can see the EXPLOSIVE DEVICE inside the bomb.  Pick up the EXPLOSIVE DEVICE.  Walk left, back to the Time Machine, and return to the present. 

CRASH SITE

Use the lever in the derusted machine again, but this time, pull the lever.  You find yourself flying through time, back to the Past. 

THE PAST

The Past looks very picturesque and peaceful.  Talk to the little girl (not as innocent as she appears, is she?) and work through all the dialogue with her.  Pick up the FOXGLOVE FLOWER from the ground.  Pick up SCRUNCHIE that’s on the steps leading to the house.  Walk left, back to the Time Machine, and return to the present.  Use SUSHI IN FISHBOWL with the pond to give Sushi a new home.  You’re left with the EMPTY EQUARIUM.  In your Inventory, use SCRUNCHIE with the Y-SHAPED BRANCH to create a SLINGSHOT.  Wait until the little girl places her FABRIC DOLL on top of her head, then use SLINGSHOT with the FABRIC DOLL to knock it out of her hands.  Now pick up the DOLL from the ground.  Look at the FABRIC DOLL to realise that it looks just like you.  Look at the bird on the roof.  Put your PEANUT SEEDS in the birdhouse, so the bird will fly down closer to you.  Now use the BLUE CRYSTAL with the bird in the birdhouse - your consciousness is transferred into the bird’s body. 

As the bird, fly up into the sky, then right to the nest in the tree.  Push the eggshells in the nest out of the way, then pick up ROWEN BERRIES from the nest.  Now fly through the skylight of the house, so you‘re inside the house. 

Look at the scientific paper on the table.  Pick up KEY from the table.  Now fly up through the skylight to leave house. 

Give ROWEN BERRIES and give SMALL FLOWERS to Zak.  Use Zak to transfer your consciousness back into your own body. 

As Zak, use the KEY in the front door of the house to unlock it.  Now open the front door and enter the house. 

Pick up SLIP OF PAPER from the table - it turns into EXPEDITION’S RESULTS in your Inventory.  Look at it in your Inventory to learn what Audrey the plant is allergic to.  Look at the strange apparatus on the table.  Use FOXGLOVE FLOWER with the strange apparatus.  Use ROWEN BERRIES with the strange apparatus.  Use MUSHROOM with the strange apparatus.  Use Sushie’s EMPTY AQUARIUM with the strange apparatus.  Now use the strange apparatus itself.  The 3 poisonous sustenance’s mix together, and pour out into Sushie’s aquarium  bowl.  Pick up AQUARIUM from the ground - it becomes AQUARIUM FILLED UP WITH POISON in your Inventory.  Use AQUARIUM FILLED UP WITH POISON with EMPTY GLASS TUBE to get FULL GLASS TUBE.  Now walk down to leave the house.  Walk left to use the Time Machine again.

Use your CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE to wear it.  Now walk through the Teleporter on the left. 

SPACESHIP - COMMAND CENTRE

If you haven’t done so already, move the curtain on the left to reveal Audrey the alien plant.  Look at the Control Panel underneath Audrey the plant.  Note, there is a closed slot in the Control Panel.  Use the switch to open the slot, then insert FULL GLASS TUBE into the open slot in the Control Panel.  Your plan worked - Audrey the plant is no more!  You automatically cover up your handiwork, so that the Caponians don’t notice what you did.  Now push the button on the Control Panel, and the pedestal in the middle of the floor rises up.  Take BROOM ALIEN from the pedestal.  Push button on the Control Panel again, so that the pedestal sinks back into the floor.  Walk through Teleporter on the right. 

HOUSE - 1ST FLOOR

Climb through window on the right. 

YARD

Walk round to front of the house, and enter through the front door. 

HOUSE - GROUND FLOOR

Look at the heap of dirt next to stairs on the left, and use your BROOM ALIEN with the heap of dirt to sweep it away.  You uncover a lid that was hidden under the heap of dirt.  Open the lid, and look at the object that was below the lid.  Pick up object - it’s a DETONATOR LEVER.  Use CABLE with the DETONATOR LEVER, then use the resulting DETONATOR LEVER WITH CABLE ATTACHED with the EXPLOSIVE DEVICE to create an EXPLOSIVE CHARGE.  Now use EXPLOSIVE CHARGE in your Inventory, and you automatically place the bomb on the stairs.  Watch some cut scenes as you foil the evil Caponians plans.

ZAK’S APARTMENT

Several weeks have passed since you saved the Earth… again, and your life has returned to normal.  Watch a cut scene as your gran calls to try and set you up on a date.  Then Annie calls, and invites you over to her house tomorrow, for her birthday.  You need to make her a special orange cream pie, as a birthday gift. 

Open drawer under the sink, and take COOKBOOK from the drawer.  Look at the COOKBOOK in your Inventory to see your gran’s recipe, and to see the list of ingredients you need to make Annie‘s pie.  Open kitchen cabinet under the sink, and pick up ORANGEEXTRA DISHWASHING DETERGENT.  Open fridge, and get the BUTTER.  Walk left into the living room area. 

Open the key cabinet next to your front door, and take MAILBOX KEY from the key cabinet.  Now walk left into your bedroom. 

In your bedroom, look at Chuck the plant - the poor thing is well and truly dead.  Open bottom drawer in your bedside cabinet, and pick up the RUBBER CONDOM.  That’s all you can do here, so leave the bedroom. 

Open your front door, and leave the apartment. 

13TH AVENUE STREET

Use MAILBOX KEY with your mailbox to unlock it.  You automatically take PARCEL from the mailbox.  Open the PARCEL to get a nice yellow COMPASS.  Use your TOP OF TITAN CUTTER on the COMPASS - you’ve created the TITAN CUTTER COMPASS.  Look at the Baker’s window, then use you TITAN CUTTER COMPASS with the Baker’s window to cut a hole in the window.  Take PIE CRUST PASTRY CASE from the window, then head through your front door, back to your apartment. 

ZAK’S APARTMENT

Back in your apartment, walk into the kitchen area. 

Look at the microwave, and place BUTTER into the bowl in the microwave.  Close the microwave , then use the microwave to turn it on and melt the butter.  Open the microwave again.  Take the MELTED BUTTER ON DISH.  In your Inventory, use the MELTED BUTTER in the PASTRY CASE to make BUTTER COATED PASTRY CASE.  Add ORANGEEXTRA DISHWASHING DETERGENT to the BUTTER COATED PASTRY CASE.  Now open the oven, and place UNBAKED ORANGE CREAM CAKE in the oven.  Watch the cut scene as you bake the ORANGE BUTTER CREAM CAKE.  Now open the front door and leave your apartment.

Climb the stairs up to Annie’s apartment.  Now sit back, and enjoy the final cut scene.

INTRO

The intro shows you, Zak McKracken, sneaking onboard an aircraft.  Someone is after you, and you have to hide from them. 

Remember to SAVE often, using different Save Slots. 

AIRCRAFT

After the intro, your adventure begins in an aircraft, several hundred miles above ground.  You are being hunted by the immigration authorities, who will kill you if they find you.  You have to hide… QUICKLY!!! 

Walk left, to the junk on top of the cabinet.  Look at the junk to find a FUSE.  Open cabinet on the left, and pick up the LEVER.  Open the box on the left, and search the box to find some PETROLEUM JELLY.  Look at TARP near the upper-right, and pick up TARP.  Use LEVER in mechanism in the middle of the floor.  Use PETROLEUM JELLY with the mechanism to grease the hinges, then pull the LEVER - the cargo hatch opens part-way, but then the fuse blows, so it can’t open any further.  Look at the fuse box next to the red scanning device.  Open the fuse box, then use your FUSE with the fuse box to fix it.  The cargo hatch opens all the way now.  Try to jump through the cargo hatch to escape, but it’s too dangerous.  Use TARP with the cargo hatch, to use it as a PARACHUTE.  Now jump down through the cargo hatch.  However, just as you are getting ready to jump, someone knocks you over the head.  You wake up, hours later, back at home. 

ZAK’S APARTMENT

You’re in your Bedroom.  Hmm, you have a huge bump on your head, so that incident in the aircraft wasn’t a dream.  It really happened!  But how?  Maybe Annie would know?  Explore your Bedroom.  Look at the lamp next to your bed.  Pull the cord to turn the lamp on… nothing happened!  The bulb must have blown.  Take BROKEN LIGHT BULB from the lamp.  When you’re ready, open door on the left, and head through to the Living Room. 

Explore your Living Room.  Pick up REMOTE CONTROL on the TV.  For a bit of fun, use the TV to see an advert about dog food.  Pick up the seat cushion from the settee, and you find a BUTTER KNIFE.  Look at the key cabinet next to your front door.  Open the key cabinet, and take MAILBOX KEY.  Look at phone on the wall to hear a message from your mum. 

Explore the Kitchen area on the right.  Open cabinet under the sink, and take bottle of SOFTENER from the cabinet.  Use BUTTER KNIFE with the jam jar on the counter to get SLATHERED BUTTER KNIFE.  Look at the fridge, and look at the note on the fridge.  It’s got a number on it - 1138.  If only you could remember who that number belongs to.  When you’ve finished exploring, open your front door, and leave your apartment. 

Watch the cut scene in the Egyptian pyramid. 

13TH AVENUE STREET

Look at the mailbox next to your door to discover that you have mail.  Use MAILBOX KEY with the mailbox to open it, and collect the POSTCARD from Annie.  Wait a minute… the POSTCARD says that Annie is on her honeymoon in Waikiki.  She got married, and didn’t even tell you???  When you’ve got over the shock, look at the baguettes and pie crusts in the bakery window.  Ring the bell button on the bakery’s door 3 times.  The baker clearly doesn’t appreciate you disturbing him - he appears at his window, and starts shooting at you!  Wait a minute… he was shooting cookies at you, not bullets.  How strange!  You automatically pick up the CARTRIDGE-SHAPED COOKIES from the ground.  Now look at the Artificial Hair Company Barber on the right.  Open the door to Artificial Hair Company, and enter it. 

ARTIFICIAL HAIR COMPANY

Stanislav greets you warmly.  He tries - and fails - to persuade you to buy a wig.  When he’s finished his sales pitch, work through all the dialogue with him.  When conversation is over, explore the shop.  Look at wigs on the wall, and move the green wig to reveal a lamp.  It uses the same bulb as your lamp in the bedroom.  Take the lamp, and you’ll get a WORKING BULB.  Look at BARBER’S MAGAZINE on the table, and take BARBER’S MAGAZINE.  Look at the head of bust skull in the wall.  MURRAY!!!  Talk to the skull, and work through all the dialogue with him.  Take LARGE COAT HOOK from the clothes hanger in the foreground.  When you’ve finished exploring, leave the barber shop. 

13TH AVENUE STREET

Return to your apartment. 

ZAK’S APARTMENT

Walk left, into your bedroom. 

Look at the lamp next to your bed, and use WORKING BULB with the lamp.  Watch the cut scene.  Now pull the chord on the lamp to turn it on.  Now you have some light in that area, so open the upper drawer in your bedside cabinet, and look in the drawer to find some PLAYING CARDS.  Look at the PLAYING CARDS in your Inventory, and you find your CASHCARD.  Leave your bedroom. 

Walk right into your kitchen area. 

Use CARTRIDGE-SHAPED COOKIES with your sink.  Turn on the tap to fill the sink with water, then use bottle of SOFTENER with the resulting cookie mush broth to turn the cookies into COOKIE MUSH.  Now pick up the COOKIE MUSH.  Walk left a few steps, back to your living room area. 

Look at the BARBER’S MAGAZINE in your Inventory to see an advert for a cab company.  Use BARBER’S MAGAZINE with the phone on your living room wall to call for a cab.  When you’re ready, leave your apartment. 

13TH AVENUE STREET

The taxi is waiting for you outside.  Talk to the taxi driver, and use the following dialogue option. 

        -       To the offices of the National Infiltrator, please. 

Watch the cut scene. 

OFFICES OF THE NATIONAL INFILTRATOR

You soon arrive at the National Infiltrator Offices.  This is where your newspaper is based.  Look at the tree growing through the building.  Look at the curtain hanging on the window on the 1st Floor.  Look at the chain of lights illuminating the door.  Enter the office. 

Talk to Jerry and work through all the dialogue with him.  Pick up SUSHI IN A BOWL from Jerry’s desk.  When Jerry has turned away from you, try to get his TITAN CUTTER KNIFE, but he always demands it back from you.  Maybe you could trick him?  Wait until he is turned away from you again, then swap your BUTTER KNIFE for his TITAN CUTTER KNIFE.  Jerry sees the jam-splattered BUTTER KNIFE, and thinks it’s blood.  He has flashbacks to when he was a surgeon, and runs off to the Emergency Room. 

Look at cabinet on the left and take LIGHTER from on top of the cabinet.  Talk to Deborah the secretary and work through all the dialogue with her.  Search the bin at Deborah’s desk to find BALLED-UP NEWSPAPER CLIPPING.  Look at BALLED-UP NEWSPAPER CLIPPING to read about the missing architects in Mexico.  It’s a good lead for you to check out.  Explore the office, and when you’re ready, leave the office. 

Talk to the taxi driver, and use the following dialogue option. 

        -       To the airport please. 

SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT

Explore the airport.  Move the seat cushion from the settee on the left, and pick up AUDIO TAPE that had fallen underneath the cushion.  Look at the AUDIO TAPE to see that it’s damaged.  Use your CASHCARD with the Ticket Machine, and buy a ticket to Mexico.  Now walk left to board the plane. 

AIRPLANE

The Stewardess is rather grumpy!  She won’t even give you a cup of coffee.  Look at the sleeping passenger in front of you.  Remove his fake beard to see a number - 1138.  Look at the suitcase next to the sleeping passenger, and use the code 1138 to open it.  Take the GLOWING OBJECT from the suitcase.  Open all the overhead compartments until you find a WHITE BLANKET.  Take the WHITE BLANKET.  Walk right into the Stewardess’s area. 

Talk to the Stewardess and work through all the dialogue with her.  She gives you a SLEEPING PILL.  Push the pill to crush it, and turn it into PULVERISED SLEEPING PILL.  Open the microwave oven, use the GLOWING OBJECT in the microwave oven, close the microwave oven, then use the microwave oven.  Your GLOWING OBJECT melts - take the resulting FLUORESCING SUBSTANCE from the microwave oven.  In your Inventory, use FLUORESCING SUBSTANCE with the BLANKET to create BLANKET, FAINTLY FLUORESCING.  Walk left, back into the passenger area. 

Look at all the other passengers, then continue left, and enter the Rest Room. 

The Stewardess harasses you, and won’t let you use the facilities, since it’s blocked.  She sells you a very expensive CHAMBER POT, and expects you to use that instead.  After she leaves, turn on the lamp in front of the mirror in the bathroom.  Look at the light - it’s much too bright.  Use BLANKET, FAINTLY FLUORESCING with the light in the bathroom to make it glow brighter.  It now becomes BLANKET, INTENSELY FLUORESCING.  Open the bin, and look in the bin to find some UNDERWEAR.  Keep looking in the bin until you find the PLUNGER.  Use PLUNGER with the toilet to unblock it, then take CAN from the toilet - it’s a CAN OF PEANUTS.  Now leave the Rest Room. 

In your Inventory, mix PULVERISED SLEEPING PILL into your CAN OF PEANUTS to get PEANUTS WITH SOPORIFIC.  Give PEANUTS WITH SOPORIFIC to the old woman in pink to make her fall asleep.  Now close all the windows, then walk right into the Stewardess’s area. 

Use BLANKET, INTENSELY FLUORESCING with the Stewardess.  You use the blanket to dress up like a ghost, scaring the Stewardess and making her faint.  Now you can finally make the cup of coffee you’ve been wanting since the start of the flight.  Your flight finally comes to an end.

Explore the airport.  When you’re ready, walk right to leave the airport. 

DIG SITE

Walk left to the excavation site. 

EXCAVATION SITE

Explore the area.  Look at the pile of bones on the table.  Pick up a BONE, and keep picking up BONES until you can’t get any more.  You’ll end up with LOTS AND LOTS OF BONES and a MEDIUM SIZED SKULL.  Look at the bulldozer, and look at the seat in the bulldozer.  Move the seat, and pick up the CROWBAR that was hidden behind the seat.  Use the CROWBAR on the blinds at the back of the bulldozer to open it.  Now open the first-aid kit, and take the STICKY TAPE.  Use STICKY TAPE on the AUDIO TAPE to stick the broken ends of the tape together.  Use YELLOW CRAYON with AUDIO TAPE to wind it in, so you can record on it.  Now pick up the BIRD’S NEST that’s on the front part of the bulldozer.  Take the SMALL SPADE that’s in the sand on the right.  When you’re ready, walk up into the cave. 

CAVE

After a short cut scene, you arrive at the scout camp. 

SCOUT CAMP

Look at the winch on the gate - you need a crank to use it.  Try to take the CRANK that’s lying next to the dog.  But every time you got near the dog, it snarls and barks at you.  Pick up STONE from the ground.  Walk down, to a clearing. 

JUNGLE CLEARING

You’ve now reached a small jungle clearing, with paths leading off in all directions.  But the paths all lead back to here.  Look at the skeleton, and take BOX OF COOKIES from the skeleton.  You end up with the skeleton’s HAND BONE, as well.  Open BOX OF COOKIES to find a COCKROACH.  EWWW!!!  Walk left a few steps and pick up the STONE TABLET piece from the ground.  When you’re ready, go back up the upper-right path, where you came from. 

SCOUT CAMP

Walk right through the jungle, back to the excavation site. 

EXCAVATION SITE

Look at the pit in the ground, and throw your STONE into the pit.  You are attacked by a weird plant-type monster, and you run away. 

After returning to the area, you see the plant-monster is now asleep.  Look at the plant’s head to see that there’s something trapped in there.  Use CROWBAR with the plant’s head to force it open.  Wow, you found the missing archaeologists.  Work through all the dialogue with them.  When conversation is over, walk left to the dig site. 

DIG SITE

Use the pick-up truck to return to the airport. 

MEXICO AIRPORT

Look at the chilly pepper wall painting, and look at the stone in the wall next to it.  Use CROWBAR with the stone to pry it loose.  Look at it in your Inventory, and you realise it’s a STONE TABLET.  Now combine the STONE TABLET you found here, with the STONE TABLET you found in the jungle clearing to get a COMPLETE STONE TABLET.  Look at it in your Inventory, and take a note of the drawing you see.  The drawing changes for every game.  Walk right to leave the airport, and return to the dig site. 

DIG SITE

Climb up the pyramid stairs, to the top of the dome. 

PYRAMID DOME TEMPLE

Look at sarcophagus, and look at statue on top of the sarcophagus.  Look at plants on the right.  Look at weathered markings on the wall with the plants.  Use your YELLOW CRAYON with the weathered markings, and copy the drawing you saw on your STONE TABLET.  Press the small stone at the bottom right.  If you did it correctly, the wall will open up, revealing a doorway.  Enter through the doorway, into the Temple. 

It’s dark in here.  Look at the bowl pedestal in middle of the room, and use your LIGHTER with the bowl pedestal to light it up.  Now you’ve got some light in the room, look at the statue of Tezcatlipoca, and look at his headdress to see that it has a huge emerald in it.  Look at the headdress again to get the comment about TV remote.  That gives you an idea.  Use REMOTE CONTROL with the headdress, and a secret panel in the column on the left opens up, revealing a PURPLE CRYSTAL.  Take the PURPLE CRYSTAL from the column.  After the cut scene, you’re trapped in the temple.  How are you going to get out? 

Look at the 2 metal plates and torches on each side of the room.  Push both torches, and the metal plate on the left slides open.  Look at the strange markings, and look at the scribble that was hidden behind the metal plate.  The scribble is some Aztec glyphs, which you can’t read just now, but remember this for later.  Look at the stone cavity in the statue, and use COOKIE MUSH in the stone cavity.  It cooks your COOKIE MUSH into a BOILING HOT COOKIE - too hot to touch.  Use the SMALL SPADE to get the BOILING HOT COOKING out of the stone cavity.  It cools quickly in your pocket, and becomes a GIANT COOKIE

Look at the carved strange plate stone in the floor on the left.  Open the carved strange plate stone to find a U-SHAPED STONE.  Now look at the strange depression in the sacrificial pedestal, and insert your U-SHAPED STONE into the strange depression.  The door to the Temple opens again, so simply walk down to leave the Temple. 

Climb down the stairs to the dig site.

Walk up through the cave, to the scout camp. 

SCOUT CAMP

Give GIANT COOKIE to the dog.  With his mouth full of cookie, he can’t bite you now.  Pick up the CRANK next to the dog, and use CRANK in the winch on the fence.  Now use the winch to wind open the gate, and walk into the camp. 

Talk to both scouts sitting at the campfire, and work through all the dialogue with them.  Look at the boreal owl in the tree on the left.  Now talk to the scout in the pit and work through all the dialogue with him.  When conversation is over, use AUDIO TAPE in the Hi-Fi system next to William (the scout in the pit).  The boreal owl lays an egg, then flies away.  Look at the egg, and try to pick up the egg.  A FEATHER will land up in the nest.  Pity it’s too high up for you to reach.  Look at the pipe next to the nest, and use the pipe to blow the FEATHER down to the ground.  Try to pick up the FEATHER, but the wind blows it away.  Keep trying to pick up the FEATHER, until it blows out of sight.  Hmphh!  There’s nothing else you can do here, so walk right to the excavation site.

Use the pick-up truck to go back to the airport.

You see the FEATHER on the windowsill - pick up the FEATHER.  This time, you succeed!  Now use the FEATHER with the BIRD’S NEST to make BIRD’S NEST WITH FEATHER.   It almost looks like a hat.  Now use your CASHCARD with the Ticket Machine, and buy a TICKET to Honolulu.  Walk left to board the plane.

You arrive at Honolulu airport in Waikiki.  This is where Annie is on her honeymoon.  Explore the airport.  Look at NEWSPAPER on the table, and pick up the NEWSPAPER.  When you’re ready, walk right to leave the airport. 

BEACH

You take a taxi to the beach.  Look at the Welcome Sign on the hut.  Look at the Cabana Guy, and look at the poster on the hut behind him.  Apparently, you need a Club Card before you can enter the beach.  Maybe you can persuade him to let you in anyway?  Give BIRD’S NEST WITH FEATHER to the Cabana Guy, and he uses it like a hat.  You now have access to the beach.  Walk right a few steps, talk to Annie, and work through all the dialogue with her.  Give NEWSPAPER to Annie, and she gives you her BOOK OF GOOD MANNERS in return.  Look at the sleeping Jacques.  Why on earth did Annie marry him?  Use your SMALL SPADE with Jacques, and you bury him in a sandcastle.  Choose any dialogue option with Annie, and you convince her that Jacques has left her.  After she leaves the beach, head left, and go to the airport. 

WAIKIKI AIRPORT

Use your CASHCARD with the Ticket Machine, and buy a TICKET to Paris.  Walk left to board the plane.

Explore the airport.  Look at the poster on the wall, and take FRENCH MOUSTACHE from the poster.  Walk right to leave the airport. 

LE PECHAUR MERVEILLIEUX RESTAURANT

You search Paris, looking for Dr Levy, and eventually you end up at Le Pechaur Merveillieux Restaurant.  Open the door, and enter the restaurant. 

Talk to the Waiter and work through all the dialogue with him.  Talk to the guest at the upper-right table, who turns out to be Dr Levy.  Agree to pay his tab for him.  However, the restaurant won’t accept your CASHCARD.  Leave the restaurant. 

Walk up alley on the right. 

ALLEY

Explore the alley.  Look through the window to see the chef.  Knock on the kitchen door, and work through all the dialogue with the chef who answers the door.  No matter what you say, you won’t be able to get into the kitchen.  Let’s try something different, then.  SAVE YOUR GAME HERE.  Use COCKROACH with the window - this distracts the chef inside, who leaves his post to chase after the cockroach.  Open (don’t knock, or you’ll have to deal with the waiter) the kitchen door and enter the kitchen. 

KITCHEN

You need to stop the chef from throwing you out of his kitchen.  So close the storeroom door (not the hooks on the door), then use CROWBAR on the door to block it.  The chef can’t get out now.  Move the stool so it’s at the door, and then pick up the SILVERFISH from the placard above the door.  Take RUBBER SEAL from the cabinet under the sink.  Use your CHAMBER POT with the stock pot of soup to get a bowl of SOUP.  Now leave the kitchen. 

ALLEY

Now you need to get the waiter busy here, so you can explore the restaurant at the front.  Knock on the kitchen door, and use the following dialogue with the waiter. 

        -       I spent some time in Lefty’s Bar before. 

The waiter will ask you to balance a tray of plates, so he can test your skills.  You fail of course, and drop the tray.  The waiter will be busy clearing up your mess for a while.  Walk left, back to the front of the restaurant. 

LE PECHAUR MERVEILLIEUX RESTAURANT

Enter the restaurant again. 

Since the waiter is busy in the kitchen, talk to the guest at the middle table, and give him BOOK OF GOOD MANNERS.  After a conversation about soup, use the FRENCH MOUSTACHE to disguise yourself.  Now give bowl of SOUP to the guest at the middle table.  Watch the cut scene, as the guest complains about the soup. 

The waiter is now out of action.  Talk to Dr Levy at the upper-right table and work through all the dialogue with him.  When conversation is over, leave the restaurant. 

Walk left to the airport.

Use your CASHCARD with the Ticket Machine, and buy a TICKET to Scotland.  Walk left to board the plane.

Explore the area.  Talk to the fisherman and work through all the dialogue with him.  It seems that he’s using the wrong bait to catch fish.  Give your SILVERFISH to the fisherman.  He gives you his FISHING ROD, and asks you to find a bigger hook.  Use your TITAN CUTTER KNIFE with your LARGE COAT HOOK to create a large FISHING HOOK.  Combine FISHING HOOK with the FISHING ROD to get FISHING ROD WITH LARGE HOOK.  Give this to the fisherman.  Watch the cut scene, then work through all the dialogue with the fisherman.  Look at the hairy fish on the ground.  Take FISHING ROD WITH LARGE HOOK that’s next to the fisherman.  Now you need to create a disguise, so use your TITAN CUTTER KNIFE with the hairy fish to get some FISH HAIR.  Walk right to return to the airport. 

SCOTLAND AIRPORT

Use your CASHCARD with the Ticket Machine, and buy a TICKET to San Francisco.  Walk left to leave the airport.

Watch the cut scene.  Your plane gets lost in the snowstorm, and has to perform an emergency landing in the North Pole.

You have been ‘volunteered’ to find some more fuel for the plane.  It’s freezing cold here, so use your FULL COFFEE CUP to warm yourself up.  Pick up JET SKIES that are leaning against the wall.  Walk right a few steps, and look at the snowman on the other side of the creek.  If only you could get over there.  But you can!  Use the JET SKIES with the creek to create a bridge.  NOTE:  The skies won’t work unless you’ve looked at the snowman first.  Now push the snowman to uncover some jet fuel cans.  Pick up the jet fuel cans, and it becomes a CANTEEN in your Inventory.  Now you have some fuel, walk left, and into the airport again.

Talk to Deborah the secretary and work through all the dialogue with her.  You want to borrow her specs, but she refuses to lend them to you.  Use FISHING ROD WITH LARGE HOOK with Deborah to hook them from a distance.  Leave the office. 

Talk to the taxi driver, and return to the airport.

Yet another secret compartment is revealed.  You see another skull in here, and it looks just like a Capoinian skull.  Take ELONGATE SKULL from this secret compartment.  Watch the cut scene.  Now leave the Temple. 

Walk down the stairs to leave the Temple.

Talk to Stanislav.  Remember, you’re trying to disguise yourself as the King, so that the aliens won’t recognise you.  Use the following dialogue options. 

        -       Alright, I get it!  I need a wig! 

        -       I’m older than you might think! 

        -       I own a business.

        -       Elvis Presley!  No one was cooler! 

        -       Mystic areas, shrouded in legend.

        -       Kicking back in a pink Cadillac!  My lifelong dream! 

        -       Classic black never goes out of style!

Watch the cut scene, as Stanislav tells you that he’s out of black hair for his wig.  Give him your FISH HAIR.  Watch a very long cut scene - eventually, Stanislav gives you a BLACK WIG.  When you’re ready, leave the shop.

Enter your apartment on the left. 

ZAK’S APARTMENT

Watch the cut scene.  Walk into your kitchen area.  Let’s put together your disguise now.  Use TITAN CUTTER KNIFE with ELONGATE SKULL to create SCOOPED-OUT CAPONIAN’S SKULL.  Add RUBBER SEAL to SCOOPED-OUT CAPONIAN’S SKULL.  Use jam jar on the counter with your SKULL WITH RUBBER SEAL FROM PICKLE JAR to make it sticky.  Your TV will flicker with static electricity.  Use your TV and watch the interview with the game designers (the designers that created the original Zak McKracken game).  The people in the interview seem to think they have some kind of connection to you, through the world of computer games.  Now add HAIRDO “POMPADOUR” WIG to SKULL WITH JAM AND RUBBER SEAL to create the perfect CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE

Watch the cut scene, and experience a severe feeling of deja-vu. 

AIRCRAFT

You’re trapped on a plane… the same plane you were on at the start of the game.  You have to escape, before the Caponians find you.  You’ve done it before, you can do it again. 

You need to prevent the Caponians from getting here.  Look at the red scanner next to the door, and look at the ventilation slots above the scanner.  Pour your COFFEE CUP into the ventilation shaft to short-circuit the scanner.  Now the Caponians can’t get in.  Walk left, to the junk on top of the cabinet.  Look at the junk to find a FUSE.  Open cabinet on the left, and pick up the LEVER.  You still have your PETROLEUM JELLY, so no need to search the box on the left again. 

Look at TARP near the upper-right, and pick up TARP.  Use LEVER in mechanism in the middle of the floor.  Use PETROLEUM JELLY with the mechanism to grease the hinges, then pull the LEVER - the cargo hatch opens part-way, but then the fuse blows, so it can’t open any further.  Look at the fuse box next to the red scanning device.  Open the fuse box, then use your FUSE with the fuse box to fix it.  The cargo hatch opens all the way now.  Try to jump through the cargo hatch to escape, but it’s too dangerous.  Use TARP with the cargo hatch, to use it as a PARACHUTE.  Now jump down through the cargo hatch.  This time, you manage to jump out of the plane before you are caught, and glide down to safety, thanks to your home-made PARACHUTE

CRASH SITE

You lost a lot of items as you jumped out of the plane.  Let’s hope you won’t need that stuff again. 

Look at the bulky waste on the ground, then look at all the items on the ground.  Pick up the LEAKING WATERING CAN.  Look at the tree on the right, push the tree, and pick up the HORSE CHESTNUT that falls from the tree.  Open the HORSE CHESTNUT to get OPEN CHESTNUT.  Now walk down to the woodland path. 

WOODLAND PATH

Look at the Warning Sign.  Nice!  Take CHEWING GUM from the Warning Sign.  It’s rock-hard, so you need to use the CHEWING GUM to chew it, and make it into CHEWED CHEWING GUM.  Use CHEWED CHEWING GUM on your LEAKING WATERING CAN to repair it.  Pick up Y-SHAPED BRANCH from the fence on the left.  Look at the blue chaff cutter - it’s a wood chipper.  Now look at the carnivorous plant.  It looks like it wants to eat you.  Look at the termites on the plant, and pick up the termites.  Watch the very bizarre cut scene (hehehe). 

Now, try again, and ignore the termites this time.  Pick up the BAG OF FERTILISER from below the termites plant.  Use BAG OF FERTILISER in your WATERING CAN, then look at the resulting WATERING CAN WITH FERTILISER POWDER to realise that you need to add some water.  Take the PINWHEEL next to the carnivorous plant - you end up with a PINWHEEL top, and a HOLLOW BAMBOO PIECE.  Look at the scrub plant near the upper-left, and push the scrub plant to find a water intake tap.  Open the water intake tap, so that water starts flowing through the hose.  Now walk left, back to the spot where you landed. 

CRASH SITE

Since you turned on the water intake tap in the field, you can see water leaking from the hose here.  Use WATERING CAN WITH FERTILISER POWDER with the leaky hose to get WATERING CAN WITH DISSOLVED FERTILISER.  Walk down to the woodland path. 

WOODLAND PATH

Walk up to the edge of the forest. 

EDGE OF THE FOREST

There’s a very sad-looking Gardener, sitting on a log.  Talk to the Gardener and work through all the dialogue with him.  When conversation is over, push the Gardener, and pick up the WOODEN EYE that falls to the ground (ick!).  Also pick up the Gardener’s GREY WORK GLOVES that are lying on the log next to him.  Use the GREY WORK GLOVES with your HOLLOW BAMBOO PIECE to get BAMBOO WITH GLOVE.  Now give OPEN CHESTNUT to the Gardener, and tell him it’s his wooden eye - he won’t know the difference. 

Pick up some PEANUT SEEDS from the bag of seeds on the ground.  Look at plants in the ground to see that they’re in bad shape.  Walk right, back to the woodland path. 

WOODLAND PATH

Use WOODEN EYE in the wood chipper chaf cutter, then pick up the MAHOGANY SAWDUST that it produces.  Look at the green bench, and use BAMBOO WITH GLOVE with the green bench to get some GREEN COLOURED GLOVES.  Use TITAN CUTTER KNIFE with the GREEN COLOURED GLOVES - you end up with a CUT OFF GREEN THUMB, and a TOP OF TITAN CUTTER.  Walk up to the edge of the forest. 

EDGE OF THE FOREST

Show CUT OFF GREEN THUMB to the Gardener - he tells you all about his problems with fertilising the plants.  You should help the poor old man out!  Use WATERING CAN WITH DISSOLVED FERTILISER with the patch of land in the middle of the foreground, to water the plants, and make them grow.  You thought the Gardener would be pleased, however, it seems he wanted to grow potatoes, not peanuts!  There’s no pleasing some people!  Okay, open (not use) the patch of land to uncover a giant peanut, then pick up the PEANUT.  Walk right to the woodland path. 

WOODLAND PATH

Try to give the PEANUT to the carnivorous plant.  Okay, you need to remove your disguise first.  In your Inventory, simply use the FRENCH MOUSTACHE to remove it.  Now again, give the PEANUT to the carnivorous plant.  The carnivorous plant eats the peanut, then runs off, giving you access to the wooden hut.  Except, there’s no door to enter.  Give MAHOGANY SAWDUST to the termites plant, and you create a trail from the termites to the wooden hut.  Now climb through the wooden hut, and into the yard.

Explore the area.  Look at the Loca vending machine, then push Loca vending machine, and take the CAN OF LOCA from the Loca vending machine.  Take CHAMOIS LEATHER from on top of the barrel.  Pick up BLUE DART that’s underneath the drain pipe (very hard to spot).  Pick up RED DART that’s between the yellow flowers on the ground and the turfed patch of soil (very hard to spot).  Pick up GREEN DART that’s on the ground, under the open window (very hard to spot).  Try to climb up to the open window, but it’s too high up for you to reach.  Now use your CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE to wear it, then walk round to the front of the house.  The guards mistake you for their leader, the King, and allow you to enter the house. 

HOUSE - GROUND FLOOR

Explore the house.  Look at the strange machine in the middle of the room.  Look at pot with plant in front of the strange machine, and push pot with plant to reveal another pot.  Pick up the pot - you just take the SHOOT OF CREEPING PLANT, and leave the pot behind.  Look at the rusty IRON BAR on the stair railing, and take the IRON BAR from the stair railing.  Close the door in the back wall, and take CABLE that’s hanging on the wall behind the door.  Now open door in the back wall again, and leave the building. 

YARD

Use SHOOT OF CREEPING PLANT in the turfed patch of soil to plant it.  Use WATERING CAN WITH DISOLVED FERTILISER with the turfed patch of soil to water it.  The creeping plant grew up towards the window, so simply enter through the window. 

HOUSE - 1ST FLOOR

Use your CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE to remove it.  Explore the room.  Look at the WORLD CONQUEST PLANS on the wall.  Oh no!  They’re planning to destroy Earth!  You MUST  stop them!  Take the WORLD CONQUEST PLANS from the wall.  Look at the SAT Receiver machine, and pull the lever at front of the machine to shut it down.  Watch the cut scene.  Pick up SCREDWDRIVER that’s on the same table as the SAT Receiver machine.  Look at cabinet on the left, and look at dartboard on the side of the cabinet - it has your picture on it.  Throw GREEN DARTRED DART, and BLUE DART at the dart board.  Wow, the dartboard was actually a mechanism, and by throwing the DARTS, you managed to open the door to their Teleporting Device.  Use CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE to wear it again, then walk up to the Teleporter. 

SPACESHIP - COMMAND CENTRE

As soon as you beam aboard the spaceship, you need to convince the Caponian that you are The King.  Use the following dialogue options. 

        -       I had just closed the door behind me…

        -       When I suddenly got a craving for a hot fudge sundae. 

        -       So I went into my kitchen, where I tripped.  

        -       I found my head stuck inside a microwave. 

        -       Some idiot pressed one of the buttons…

        -       A gigantic electrical current kept spinning around me.  

        -       Transcended the bounds of time and space… 

Thankfully, the Caponian believes your story.  Now explore the room.  Move the curtain on the left to reveal Audrey the alien plant.  You need to get rid of Audrey!  But how?  Look at the Security Door in the back wall, and exit the room through the Security Door. 

SPACESHIP - CORRIDOR

You find yourself in a long corridor.  Go through door on the right, in The King’s bedroom. 

SPACESHIP - BEDROOM

The King is sleeping in his bed, so don’t wake him up.  Explore the bedroom.  There’s a lot of pictures on the wall - move portrait of The King to reveal a hidden safe.  You can’t open the safe yet, but remember it’s there.  Look at the jukebox, use the jukebox, and select the following track. 

        -       13.  Lullaby

Open cabinet on the left, and MOBILE TOY from the cabinet.  Look at the cord hanging from the ceiling, above The King’s bed, and tie MOBILE TOY onto the cord.  Use the MOBILE TOY to turn it on.  Open the curtain on the right, to see The King’s outfits.  Move all 3 of his outfits along the railing, then take the DUMMY that’s hanging from the railing.  Give DUMMY to The King.  He’s sleeping soundly now.  Pick up BENT PIECE OF METAL KEY from his chest.  Now leave the bedroom. 

SPACESHIP - CORRIDOR

Out in the corridor, look at the metal sheathing high up, on the wall on the right.  There’s something green behind the sheathing.  Open the metal sheathing, and look at the green slimy bag - is it an egg?  Use IRON BAR with the green slimy bag - you accidentally burst it open.  Pick up the STICKY SLIME

Look at the door on the left.  It doesn’t seem to open.  Look at the strange mechanism to the left of the door - this mechanism controls the door.  Insert BENT PIECE OF METAL KEY into the strange mechanism, then go through door on the left, into the Machine Room. 

SPACESHIP - MACHINE ROOM

Explore the room.  Look at the huge laser ray cannon - it‘s useless without a crystal.  Look at the box on the right, and open the box.  Push the button inside the box, to turn off the huge laser ray cannon.  Take GLOWING CRYSTAL from the huge laser ray cannon.  Now look at the laser beams on the right, and look at the hand-shaped switch next to the laser beams.  Use the switch to learn that it toggles the laser beams on and off.  However, it doesn’t stay off for very long.  In your Inventory, use the STICKY SLIME with the HAND BONE to get BONY HAND WITH SLIME, then use this with the hand-shaped switch.  The lasers are now deactivated.  Look at poor Roger Wilco in the cell.  Look at the longish object on the floor next to Roger Wilco, then pick it up. - it’s an EMPTY GLASS TUBE.  There’s nothing else you can do here, so leave the room.

Walk up to the Command Centre.

Walk right, into the Teleporter. 

HOUSE - 1ST FLOOR

You’re back in the house.  Climb out window on the right. 

YARD

Climb through hole in the fence, so you’re back at the Woodland Path. 

WOODLAND PATH

Use your CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE to remove it.  Walk left to the Crash Site. 

CRASH SITE

Look at machine on the left, to see that it’s rusty.  Use CAN OF LOCA on the machine to dissolve the rust.  Open the egg-shaped hood at the top of the machine, and place your PURPLE CRYSTAL inside the egg-shaped hood.  Now close the receptacle hood.  Use IRON BAR with the derusted machine, and it will act as a lever.  Use the lever, then push the lever, and you find yourself flying through time, into the Future. 

THE FUTURE

The future looks like Armageddon!  Explore the area.  Pick up the MUSHROOMS growing next to the burned-down house.  Look at your MUSHROOMS to realise that they’re poisonous.  Look at the Caponian body in the middle of the swamp, and take CAPONIAN’S EYEBALL from the Caponian.  Look at bomb in the foreground, and look at lid of the bomb.  Use CHAMOIS LEATHER with your SCREWDRIVER to get SCREWDRIVER WRAPPED IN SHAMMY, then use this with the lid on the bomb.  You can see the EXPLOSIVE DEVICE inside the bomb.  Pick up the EXPLOSIVE DEVICE.  Walk left, back to the Time Machine, and return to the present. 

CRASH SITE

Use the lever in the derusted machine again, but this time, pull the lever.  You find yourself flying through time, back to the Past. 

THE PAST

The Past looks very picturesque and peaceful.  Talk to the little girl (not as innocent as she appears, is she?) and work through all the dialogue with her.  Pick up the FOXGLOVE FLOWER from the ground.  Pick up SCRUNCHIE that’s on the steps leading to the house.  Walk left, back to the Time Machine, and return to the present.

Walk down to the Woodland Path.

Climb through the wooden hut to get to the Yard.

Climb through the open window, into the house. 

HOUSE - 1ST FLOOR

Use your CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE to wear it.  Now walk through the Teleporter on the left. 

SPACESHIP - COMMAND CENTRE

Walk up through the Security Door in the back wall. 

SPACESHIP - CORRIDOR

Enter door on the right, into the King’s bedroom. 

SPACESHIP - BEDROOM

Now it’s time to open the safe in the wall.  Use CAPONIAN’S EYEBALL with the safe.  The retina scan will accept the eyeball and open the safe.  Look at the BLUE CRYSTAL in the safe, and pick up the BLUE CRYSTAL.  Look at the crystal shards in the safe.  When you’re ready, leave the bedroom. 

SPACESHIP - CORRIDOR

Walk up to the Command Centre. 

SPACESHIP - COMMAND CENTRE

Walk right, into the Teleporter. 

HOUSE - 1ST FLOOR

You’re back in the house.  Climb out window on the right. 

YARD

Climb through hole in the fence, so you’re back at the Woodland Path. 

WOODLAND PATH

Use your CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE to remove it.  Pick up BRANCHES next to the blue chaff cutter wood chipper, so you get a Y-SHAPED BRANCH.  Walk left to the Crash Site. 

CRASH SITE

Use the lever in the derusted machine, and pull the lever.  You find yourself flying through time, back to the Past. 

THE PAST

Use SUSHI IN FISHBOWL with the pond to give Sushi a new home.  You’re left with the EMPTY EQUARIUM.  In your Inventory, use SCRUNCHIE with the Y-SHAPED BRANCH to create a SLINGSHOT.  Wait until the little girl places her FABRIC DOLL on top of her head, then use SLINGSHOT with the FABRIC DOLL to knock it out of her hands.  Now pick up the DOLL from the ground.  Look at the FABRIC DOLL to realise that it looks just like you.  Look at the bird on the roof.  Put your PEANUT SEEDS in the birdhouse, so the bird will fly down closer to you.  Now use the BLUE CRYSTAL with the bird in the birdhouse - your consciousness is transferred into the bird’s body. 

As the bird, fly up into the sky, then right to the nest in the tree.  Push the eggshells in the nest out of the way, then pick up ROWEN BERRIES from the nest.  Now fly through the skylight of the house, so you‘re inside the house. 

Look at the scientific paper on the table.  Pick up KEY from the table.  Now fly up through the skylight to leave house. 

Give ROWEN BERRIES and give SMALL FLOWERS to Zak.  Use Zak to transfer your consciousness back into your own body. 

As Zak, use the KEY in the front door of the house to unlock it.  Now open the front door and enter the house. 

Pick up SLIP OF PAPER from the table - it turns into EXPEDITION’S RESULTS in your Inventory.  Look at it in your Inventory to learn what Audrey the plant is allergic to.  Look at the strange apparatus on the table.  Use FOXGLOVE FLOWER with the strange apparatus.  Use ROWEN BERRIES with the strange apparatus.  Use MUSHROOM with the strange apparatus.  Use Sushie’s EMPTY AQUARIUM with the strange apparatus.  Now use the strange apparatus itself.  The 3 poisonous sustenance’s mix together, and pour out into Sushie’s aquarium  bowl.  Pick up AQUARIUM from the ground - it becomes AQUARIUM FILLED UP WITH POISON in your Inventory.  Use AQUARIUM FILLED UP WITH POISON with EMPTY GLASS TUBE to get FULL GLASS TUBE.  Now walk down to leave the house.  Walk left to use the Time Machine again.

Walk down to the Woodland Path.

Walk up to Edge Of The Forest.

The depressed Gardener is still here.  Give him your FABRIC DOLL to cheer him up.  Now take the Gardener’s SPADE from the ground.  Walk down to the Woodland Path.

Climb through the wooden hut to get to the Yard.

Climb through the open window, into the house. 

HOUSE - 1ST FLOOR

Use your CAPONIAN’S SKULL WITH TOUPEE to wear it.  Now walk through the Teleporter on the left. 

SPACESHIP - COMMAND CENTRE

If you haven’t done so already, move the curtain on the left to reveal Audrey the alien plant.  Look at the Control Panel underneath Audrey the plant.  Note, there is a closed slot in the Control Panel.  Use the switch to open the slot, then insert FULL GLASS TUBE into the open slot in the Control Panel.  Your plan worked - Audrey the plant is no more!  You automatically cover up your handiwork, so that the Caponians don’t notice what you did.  Walk through Teleporter on the right. 

HOUSE - 1ST FLOOR

Climb through window on the right. 

YARD

Walk round to front of the house, and enter through the front door. 

HOUSE - GROUND FLOOR

Look at the heap of dirt next to stairs on the left, and use your SPADE with the heap of dirt to clear it away.  You uncover a lid that was hidden under the heap of dirt.  Open the lid, and look at the object that was below the lid.  Pick up object - it’s a DETONATOR LEVER.  Use CABLE with the DETONATOR LEVER, then use the resulting DETONATOR LEVER WITH CABLE ATTACHED with the EXPLOSIVE DEVICE to create an EXPLOSIVE CHARGE.  Now use EXPLOSIVE CHARGE in your Inventory, and you automatically place the bomb on the stairs.  Watch some cut scenes as you foil the evil Caponians plans.

ZAK’S APARTMENT

Several weeks have passed since you saved the Earth… again, and your life has returned to normal.  Watch a cut scene as your gran calls to try and set you up on a date.  Then Annie calls, and invites you over to her house tomorrow, for her birthday.  You need to make her a special orange cream pie, as a birthday gift. 

Open drawer under the sink, and take COOKBOOK from the drawer.  Look at the COOKBOOK in your Inventory to see your gran’s recipe, and to see the list of ingredients you need to make Annie‘s pie.  Open kitchen cabinet under the sink, and pick up ORANGEEXTRA DISHWASHING DETERGENT.  Open fridge, and get the BUTTER.  Walk left into the living room area. 

Open the key cabinet next to your front door, and take MAILBOX KEY from the key cabinet.  Pick up TOP OF TITAN CUTTER from the bookshelf on the left.  Now walk left into your bedroom. 

In your bedroom, look at Chuck the plant - the poor thing is well and truly dead.  Open bottom drawer in your bedside cabinet, and pick up the RUBBER CONDOM.  That’s all you can do here, so leave the bedroom. 

Open your front door, and leave the apartment. 

13TH AVENUE STREET

Use MAILBOX KEY with your mailbox to unlock it.  You automatically take PARCEL from the mailbox.  Open the PARCEL to get a nice yellow COMPASS.  Use your TOP OF TITAN CUTTER on the COMPASS - you’ve created the TITAN CUTTER COMPASS.  Look at the Baker’s window, then use you TITAN CUTTER COMPASS with the Baker’s window to cut a hole in the window.  Take PIE CRUST PASTRY CASE from the window, then head through your front door, back to your apartment. 

ZAK’S APARTMENT

Back in your apartment, walk into the kitchen area. 

Look at the microwave, open microwave, and place BUTTER into the bowl in the microwave.  Close the microwave , then use the microwave to turn it on and melt the butter.  Open the microwave again.  Take the MELTED BUTTER ON DISH.  In your Inventory, use the MELTED BUTTER in the PASTRY CASE to make BUTTER COATED PASTRY CASE.  Add ORANGEEXTRA DISHWASHING DETERGENT to the BUTTER COATED PASTRY CASE.  Now open the oven, and place UNBAKED ORANGE CREAM CAKE in the oven.  Watch the cut scene as you bake the ORANGE BUTTER CREAM CAKE.  Now open the front door and leave your apartment. 

13TH AVENUE STREET

Climb the stairs up to Annie’s apartment.  Now sit back, and enjoy the final cut scene.
