PARK

In the dream, you’re a child again.  Walk right, until you see your mum sitting on the ground with the picnic basket.  You convince her to let you go and pet the dog.  Head right, and continue right, until you‘re outside the park. 

 

OUTSIDE THE PARK

Wow, your face is already bloody and mutilated at this point.  What happened to you?  Walk right, and continue right, until you reach the ambulance.  Enter the ambulance.

ADDISON APARTMENT BUILDING

APARTMENT 403 - MRS SANDERSON’S APARTMENT

Time has jumped forward again.  You’re in Mrs Sanderson’s apartment to help her fix her blocked toilet.  The scene plays out just as Larry told it to you earlier.  Walk left, and enter the bathroom. 

In the bathroom, pick up PLUNGER from the floor.  You have a vision of being in the sewers. 

 

SEWERS

Walk right until you see the pony.  Talk to the pony - he tells you he’s thirsty, and pleads for some water.  Walk left  to the ladder, and climb up the ladder. 

Walk right a few steps, and flip the switch in the wall.  Nothing happens.  Walk right a few more steps, and climb up the next ladder. 

Head left, until you see the switch in the wall.  Flip the switch.  A green light comes on.  Walk right a few steps, and climb up the ladder. 

Walk right a few steps, and flip the switch in the wall.  Another green light comes on.  Make your way back down 2 levels of the sewers, back to the first switch in the wall. 

Flip the switch in the wall.  This time, the green light comes on.  Walk left a few steps, and climb down the ladder, so you‘re on the lowest level. 

Notice the clear blue water flowing through the sewers now.  Walk right to the pony.  Use the pony as a bridge, and continue right to the door.  Enter through the door to leave the sewers.  

 

APARTMENT 403 - MRS SANDERSON’S APARTMENT

The vision ends, and you’re back in Mrs Sanderson’s apartment.  The toilet is fixed now.  Peek through the bathroom door - you see a shadowy figure brutally kill Mrs Sanderson. 

In the living room, notice the broken coffee table, and Mrs Sanderson’s body sprawled out on the floor.  It’s almost identical to how you saw it earlier.  Now leave the apartment. 

 

4TH FLOOR HALLWAY

Follow the bloody footsteps left, then continue left until you see Charley sitting in his chair.  Talk to Charley.  He tells you he’s innocent.  Then he ‘unzips’ his skin, revealing the skeleton underneath. 

You jerk awake, in your prison cell. 

 

APARTMENT 1B - LARRY & LISA’S APARTMENT

Some time has passed.  You’re hanging out with your best friend Larry in his apartment.  You’ve been having nightmares again.  Follow Larry left a few steps, then talk to him.  He takes you up to the roof. 

 

ROOF

Walk left, and continue left, until you reach the tree.  Climb up the tree into the tree house. 

 

TREE HOUSE

In the tree house, Larry tells you about his dad’s disappearance, and how badly it’s affected him.  He believes he is cursed, and it’s his fault that his dad disappeared.  If the two of you work together, maybe you can break Larry’s curse.  It’s worth a try.  Pick up photo on the shelf unit next to the filing cabinet.  Hmm, your GEAR BOY reacts strangely to the photo - could it be picking up supernatural activity?  Search the filing cabinet - nothing in there.  Open the chest on the right - look at Nature Life Magazine, leather jacket, and the WEIRD SMALL BOX.  Take WEIRD SMALL BOX, and show it to Larry.  Seems like there’s a piece missing from it.  That’s all you can do up here, so leave the tree house. 

 

ROOF

Follow Larry right to the door, then go back inside. 

 

APARTMENT 1B - LARRY & LISA’S APARTMENT

In Larry’s room, talk to Larry, and work through the dialogue.  Look at the stereo on the left, and tell Larry you want to hear the new Sanity Falls song.  Ahhhh, there’s nothing like a good head banging session!  When you’re ready, leave Larry’s room. 

In the living room, enter Lisa’s room. 

In Lisa’s room, chat to Lisa.  She’ll hopefully be feeling better soon.  Leave Lisa’s room. 

Leave the apartment through the green door. 

 

BASEMENT HALLWAY

Chat with Chug, who’s waiting for the vending machine to be restocked.  Now talk to Chug again, and work through all the dialogue.  Look at laundry machine on the right.  Walk right a few steps, and look in the Lost & Found section - nothing interesting there.  Use the lift, and go up to the 5th Floor. 

 

5TH FLOOR HALLWAY

Enter Apartment 504. 

 

APARTMENT 504

It’s dark in here.  You automatically call Larry on your WALKIE TALKIE, and ask him to come up here, so he can meet your ghost friend Megan.  When Larry arrives, take him into the bathroom. 

Sadly, Megan doesn’t appear.  Larry leaves, to go and check on his mum, leaving you alone in the bathroom.  Well, there’s nothing you can do here, so leave the bathroom. 

Leave the apartment. 

 

5TH FLOOR HALLWAY

Use the lift, and go to the 4th Floor. 

 

4TH FLOOR HALLWAY

Enter Apartment 402, your apartment. 

 

APARTMENT 402 - SAL’S APARTMENT

Walk right a few steps, and enter your room. 

Love the posters on your wall, Sal!  Nothing to do here, so just leave your room. 

Enter your dad’s room. 

Your dad is busy working on his computer.  Try to talk to him, but he’s too busy.  He seems to be coping with things better now.  Leave his room. 

Leave the apartment through the green door. 

 

4TH FLOOR HALLWAY

Use the lift, and go down to the 3rd Floor. 

 

3RD FLOOR HALLWAY

Knock on Apartment 302.  David answers the door.  Talk to David, and work through all the dialogue.  When conversation is over, use the lift, and go down to the 2nd Floor. 

 

2ND FLOOR HALLWAY

Knock on Apartment 202, Todd’s apartment.  Todd invites you into his apartment. 

 

APARTMENT 202 - TODD’S APARTMENT

Todd is tutoring his friend Ashley, or Ash for short.  As soon as you see her, you become rather smitten with her.  Talk to Todd, and work through the dialogue.  You tell him all about your ghost friend Megan.  Todd takes you into his bathroom, to try and communicate with HIS ghostly apparition. 

Nothing exciting happens in Todd’s bathroom.  No ghostly apparitions appear, nothing!  Todd tells you that he can modify your GAME GEAR to better amplify supernatural hotspots.  He just needs something to amplify the reception, and something to boost it’s electrical output.  In other words, and antenna and a battery pack.  Todd returns to his room.  When you’re ready, leave the bathroom. 

Walk right a few steps, and enter Todd’s room. 

In Todd’s room, look at Bob the fish.  Talk to Todd and work through all the dialogue.  You don’t have anything yet that could help with the reception.  As far are the power goes, offer your WALKIE TALKIE, and he takes the batteries from it.  Now leave Todd’s room. 

Leave the apartment through the green door. 

 

2ND FLOOR HALLWAY

Enter Apartment 204, Charley’s old apartment. 

 

APARTMENT 204 - CHARLEY’S OLD APARTMENT

Charley may be locked up in jail, but you can still explore his apartment.  Have a look round the apartment if you like, but there’s nothing you can do in here.  When you’re ready, leave the apartment. 

 

2ND FLOOR HALLWAY

Use the lift, and go down to the Ground Floor. 

 

GROUND FLOOR HALLWAY

Knock on Apartment 102, Miss Rosenburg’s apartment.  She invites you into her apartment. 

 

APARTMENT 102 - MISS ROSENBURG’S APARTMENT

Talk to Miss Rosenburg, and work through all the dialogue with her.  Apparently Miss Rosenburg owned this apartment block before selling it to the Addison family.  When conversation is over, leave the apartment. 

 

GROUND FLOOR HALLWAY

Knock on Apartment 103, Mr Addison’s apartment.  He peeks through his letterbox as he talks to you.  Work through all the dialogue with him.  When conversation is over, use the lift, and go down to the Basement. 

 

BASEMENT HALLWAY

Walk left a few steps, and enter Apartment 1B - Larry’s apartment. 

 

APARTMENT 1B - LARRY’S APARTMENT

Enter Larry’s room. 

In Larry’s room, talk to Larry, and work through the dialogue.  Click on Larry’s (unmarked) scanner radio on his chest of drawers, and ask to borrow his ANTENNA.  Now leave Larry’s room. 

Leave the apartment through the green door. 

 

BASEMENT HALLWAY

Use the lift, and go up to the 2nd Floor. 

 

2ND FLOOR HALLWAY

Enter Apartment 202, Todd’s apartment. 

 

APARTMENT 202 - TODD’S APARTMENT

Enter Todd’s room. 

Talk to Todd, and ask:

         -        Will this work for the reception? 

Now offer him the ANTENNA.  That will work perfectly.  He now upgrades your GEAR BOY into a SUPER GEAR BOY.  Now to test it!  Todd takes you into his bathroom, where his supernatural apparition hangs out.  

In the bathroom, use your SUPER GEAR BOY (press Shift), then activate it (press R).  It worked!  You meet the ghost of Greg.  Chat with Greg to learn his sad tale about Stacy and her daughter.  Then Greg gets spooked, and he vanishes again.  Todd can’t quite believe he’s had his very first supernatural experience, and returns to his bedroom to do some research.  When you’re ready, leave the bathroom. 

Leave the apartment through the green door. 

 

2ND FLOOR HALLWAY

Enter Apartment 204, Charley’s old apartment. 

 

APARTMENT 204 - CHARLEY’S OLD APARTMENT

Use your SUPER GEAR BOY (press Shift).  Walk right a few steps, and when it starts glowing, activate it (press R).  You’ve found a hot spot (Hot Spot 1).  When you’re ready, leave the apartment. 

 

2ND FLOOR HALLWAY

Use the lift, and go up to the 5th Floor. 

 

5TH FLOOR HALLWAY

Walk all the way left.  Use your SUPER GEAR BOY (press Shift), and when it starts glowing, activate it (press R).  You see another supernatural hot spot (Hot Spot 2).  Now enter Apartment 502. 

 

APARTMENT 502

Use your SUPER GEAR BOY (press Shift).  Walk left a few steps, to the bird cage.  When it starts glowing, activate it (press R).  Yep, another supernatural hot spot (Hot Spot 3).  When you’re ready, leave the apartment. 

 

5TH FLOOR HALLWAY

Enter Apartment 504. 

 

APARTMENT 504

Explore the apartment if you like.  Even with your super-duper new SUPER GEAR BOY, you can’t seem to contact Megan.  Oh well!  When you’re ready, leave the apartment. 

 

5TH FLOOR HALLWAY

Use the lift, and go down to the Ground Floor. 

 

GROUND FLOOR HALLWAY

Enter Apartment 102, Mrs Rosenburg’s apartment. 

 

APARTMENT 102 - MRS ROSENBURG’S APARTMENT

Use your SUPER GAME GEAR (press Shift).  Walk left a few steps, and when it starts glowing, activate it (press R) to find another hot spot (Hot Spot 4).  Hmm, that was interesting!  Is Mrs Rosenburg… a ghost?  Talk to her, and ask her if she’s okay.  When you’re ready, leave the apartment. 

 

GROUND FLOOR HALLWAY

Use the lift, and go down to the Basement. 

 

BASEMENT HALLWAY

Enter Apartment 1B, Larry & Lisa’s apartment. 

 

APARTMENT 1B - LARRY & LISA’S APARTMENT

Use your SUPER GAME GEAR (press Shift).  Walk left a few steps, into the kitchen, and when it starts glowing, activate it (press R).  Another supernatural hot spot (Hot Spot 5).  Now walk right, and enter Larry’s room. 

Talk to Larry, and show him your new SUPER GEAR BOY.  When conversation is over, walk left, and climb up the stairs to go up to the roof. 

 

ROOF

Walk left, and climb up into the tree house. 

Use your SUPER GEAR BOY (press Shift).  Walk right a few steps, and when it starts glowing, activate it (press R).  A phantom appears at this hot spot (Hot Spot 6).  It tries to communicate with you, but things are so distorted, you can’t make out what it’s saying.  But you DO understand something about a red ball.  Then the phantom disappears.  Okay, let’s go and check in with Todd again.  Leave the tree house. 

Walk left, and return to Larry’s room. 

 

APARTMENT 1B - LARRY & LISA’S APARTMENT

Leave the apartment through the green door. 

 

BASEMENT HALLWAY

Use the lift, and go up to the 2nd Floor. 

 

2ND FLOOR HALLWAY

Enter Apartment 202, Todd’s apartment. 

 

APARTMENT 202 - TODD’S APARTMENT

Enter Todd’s room. 

Talk to Todd. He’s been researching Addison Apartments (your apartment block), but all he can find is the incident involving Charley, for murdering Mrs Sanderson.  He also tells you about a Missing Persons report, involving Megan Holmes.  That’s YOUR friend Megan.  The follow-up to Megan’s disappearance, is a report on Megan and her parents being found dead in a mudslide.  Poor Megan.  It’s more important than ever, that you communicate with her again.  Now talk to Todd, and work through all the dialogue.  When conversation is over, leave Todd’s room. 

Leave the apartment. 

 

2ND FLOOR HALLWAY

Use the lift, and go down to the Basement. 

 

BASEMENT HALLWAY

Walk right a few steps, to the Lost & Found box.  Search the box, and you find Megan’s necklace.  Now you can surely communicate with Megan again.  You automatically take Larry up to the bathroom in Apartment 504. 

 

APARTMENT 504

In the bathroom, you automatically use your SUPER GEAR BOY.  Now all you have to do, is activate it (press R).  You found another hot spot (Hot Spot 7).  The Ghost Of Megan appears in front of you.  Work through all the dialogue with her.  You learn that her daddy used to be nice, but now he’s angry and scary all the time.  As she’s talking to you, she tells you that her daddy is coming, so she has to go.  Hmmm, you’ll need to investigate things a lot more, to uncover this mystery.   When you’re ready, leave the bathroom. 

Leave the apartment. 

 

5TH FLOOR HALLWAY

Use the lift, and go down to the 3rd Floor. 

 

3RD FLOOR HALLWAY

Knock on Apartment 302, David’s apartment.  Talk to David, and ask to borrow his CROWBAR.  Unfortunately, he can’t, since it’s the only thing holding up his shelf.  When conversation is over, enter Apartment 301, the college students apartment. 

 

APARTMENT 301 - COLLEGE STUDENT APARTMENT

Okay, the students are planning a party tonight.  The aim here is to keep their party as quiet as possible, so it won’t disturb David next door.  Walk left a few steps, and talk to CJ.  He’s trying to choose the music for his party tonight.  Adjust the radio, and select Station 89.3.  Walk left into the kitchen, and talk to Azaria.  She’s trying to decide the game for tonight’s party.  Look through her book, and select Telephone (their version of Chinese Whispers).  Walk right a few steps, and talk to Sierra.  She has to decide on an activity for tonight’s party.  Look at her list, and select Chess Tournament.  That should keep the party nice and quiet.  When you’re ready, leave the apartment. 

 

3RD FLOOR HALLWAY

Knock on Apartment 302, David’s apartment.  Ask again if you can borrow his CROWBAR.  This time, he gives it to you.  Knock on Apartment 302 again.  Now talk to David, and ask if you can come into his apartment.  He agrees. 

 

APARTMENT 302 - DAVID’S APARTMENT

Talk to Sara on the settee.  Sara is a mannequin, so it’s a pretty strange conversation.  Talk to David if you like.  When you’re ready, leave the apartment. 

 

3RD FLOOR HALLWAY

Use the lift, and go up to the 4th Floor. 

 

4TH FLOOR HALLWAY

Look at Apartment 403, with the wooden boards sealing it shut.  Use your CROWBAR to pry the boards off.  Now enter Apartment 403. 

 

APARTMENT 403

Use your SUPER GEAR BOY (press Shift).  Walk right a few steps, and when it starts glowing, activate it (press R).  You found another hot spot (Hot Spot Image #1.  The Ghost Of Mrs Sanderson appears in front of you.  Notice that her throat is slashed open.  She chats to you, but then she gets scared, and has to go and hide.  There’s nothing else you can do here, so leave the apartment. 

 

4TH FLOOR HALLWAY

Use the lift, and go up to the 5th Floor. 

 

5TH FLOOR HALLWAY

Enter Apartment 504. 

 

APARTMENT 504

Walk right a few steps, and look at the bedroom door.  Use your CROWBAR to pull the planks off the door.  Now enter the bedroom. 

In the bedroom, use your SUPER GEAR BOY (press Shift).  Walk left a few steps, and when it starts glowing, activate it (press R).  You found another supernatural hot spot (Hot Spot 9), with the Ghost Of Stacy appearing in front of you.  She doesn’t stay for long, though.  Walk left a few steps, and look at hole in the wall.  It looks like there’s another room on the other side of this wall.  Crawl through the creepy hole. 

In this new room, use your SUPER GEAR BOY (press Shift).  Walk left a few steps, and when it starts glowing, activate it (press R).  Another hot spot (Hot Spot 10) is activated.  Okay, you’ve found all the Hot Spots in the apartment building, so your SUPER GEAR BOY automatically pops up, displaying 8 Chapters (or mini-games) for you to work through.  These mini-games show a lot of insight as to what is going on in Addison Apartments, so let’s get started. 

 

         Chapter 1

         Find your way through the maze, while avoiding the deadly

         spikes.  Take book from the altar. 

 

         Chapter 2

         Find your way through the maze, avoiding the deadly laser

         fields.  Press switch on the upper-left.  Now make your way

         to the door at the top, and enter through the door. 

 

         Next part of the maze.  Same idea as the last part.  Press

         switch at the lower-right, then find your way up to the door

         at the top. 

 

         Part 3 of the laser fields maze.  Find your way to the switch

         in the centre of the maze, then find your way to door at the

         top-left. 

 

         Head straight up to the altar, and use key. 

 

         Chapter 3

         Walk up to the church, and enter the church.  Speak to the

         minister, who tells you that members only are allowed through

         his door.  Okay, it seems like you have to find another way

         through the church. 

 

         Listen\walk through door on the right. 

         Walk through door at the top.

         Walk through door on the right.

         Walk through door on the bottom.

         Walk through door on the right. 

 

         A woman is in this room.  Talk to her.  This is Stacy

         Holmes, Megan’s mum. 

 

         Chapter 4

         On each level, you need to cut the power lines at the bottom,

         while avoiding the ghosts.  Then enter through door at the

         top.  The ghosts walking habits, as well as the number of

         ghosts, gradually increases, and becomes more complex. 

         When all the power lines are cut, go through door at the

         top-right. 

 

         Chat with Rosenburg.  Stacy and Rose must work together to

         stop an ancient ritual. 

 

         Chapter 5

         As Megan, you have to find your way through the scary

         woods.

 

         Walk down.

         Walk left.

         Walk down.

         Walk right.

 

         You’ve managed to find your way back home.  Your mum

         gives you Grandma’s necklace, to protect you from the

         wickedness of the world. 

 

         Chapter 6

         You have to find your way through another maze, while

         avoiding the deadly spikes.  Head left first of all, and find the

         skull.  Work your way towards the top-right, and find another

         skull.  Continue finding your way rightwards, for a 3rd skull. 

         The Council tell you to remain in the pentagram circle, while

         they summon the demon. 

 

         Chapter 7

         Another maze to get through.  Avoid the laser fields.  Press

         switch at the top-right, then enter through door at the top. 

 

         In this level, press switch at the top-left, then enter through

         door at the top. 

 

         The last level.  Press switch at the bottom-left, then enter the

         fire. 

 

Watch the scene with Luke, as he transforms into the demon with the red eyes, that’s been haunting the apartments.  Chat with Larry, who’s come to check if you’re okay.  Awww, that’s nice of him.  Larry has one of Todd’s inventions, that could destroy an evil spirit.  Larry realises that the demon has been here for decades… before he was even born.  Which means, he’s not cursed after all.  Which means… his dad DID abandon him and his mum, and he’s not coming back.  Poor Larry!

HOSPITAL

PSYCHIATRIST OFFICE

Ahh, you’ve been having another session with Dr Enon, the psychiatrist.  Unfortunately, your time is up for today, and your trial is only a few days away.  To make matters worse, Dr Enon doesn’t believe your story.  As you are led back to your cell, you plead with Dr Enon to visit the tree house, and see that everything you’ve told him is true.

ADDISON APARTMENT BUILDING

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

ROOF

You are now playing as Dr Enon.  After the last session with Sal, you need to know if he is telling the truth or not, so you visit his old apartment block.  Head left, and continue left to the tree.  Climb up into the tree house. 

 

TREE HOUSE

Search boxes on the ground - nothing interesting.  Look at picture of Larry’s parents on the wall.  Look at shelves on the right - just tools and other junk.  Look at floor on the right - still nothing interesting.  You were really hoping to find something that would support Sal’s story.  But just as you are about to leave, the Ghost Of Larry appears.  Larry pleads for your help to get Sal out of jail.  You faint from the shock, and fall out of the tree house.  Sadly, the fall kills you.

VOID

WHITE ROOM

You’re playing as Sal again, and you find yourself in… nothingness.  Just an empty white room.  A voice talks to you, but it’s talking backwards. 

         “Don’t forget what I told you.  Find me in the White Room.”

The Phantom also talks to you, but it’s still so distorted, you can’t make out what he’s saying.  Then the Phantom tells you to RUN!  You try, but you can’t outrun the demon.
