Below you'll find an overview of Adventure Games that have received a very high rating based on our reviews, the list is sorted based on highest rated Adventure Game first combined with recency of the review we've done.

Red Crow Mysteries: Legion  (2011)

As a hidden object adventure hybrid that’s big on atmosphere but light on gameplay, Red Crow Mysteries will prove a mild distraction for a short time but won’t stay with you for long.

James Noir’s Hollywood Crimes  (2011)

There isn’t much glitz or glamour in James Noir's Hollywood Crimes, a puzzle-adventure with low production values and repetitive puzzles that even an interesting murder mystery can’t overcome.

Girl with a Heart of  (2011)

Whilst having a distinctive look and well-crafted backstory, the lack of gameplay depth leaves Girl with a Heart of feeling as unfinished as its title.

The Count of Monte Cristo  (2011)

The game doesn’t muck around with a fantastic adventure story, but while this classic tale of vengeance holds up, the lack of engaging gameplay makes the interactive Count of Monte Cristo experience feel a little cold.

1112: Episode 03  (2011)

Three episodes in, 1112 continues to disappoint with its aimless story and uninspired puzzles, but the presentation and platform mechanics are still very accomplished.

Space Madness  (2011)

Space Madness has several highlights stemming mainly from its humour, but some poorly designed puzzles and plot limitations keep it from ever really taking off.

Trauma  (2011)

This experimental adventure has some interesting ideas and deserves credit for trying something different, but Trauma ends up feeling far too shallow and short.

Tales from the Dragon Mountain: The Strix  (2011)

The lack of story and overly simplified gameplay make this trip up Dragon Mountain a long way to go for very little reward.

Odissea - An Almost True Story  (2011)

Despite its limited production quality and linear gameplay, Odissea is an inspired adaptation of the Greek epic that will entertain you with its offbeat plot and quirky humour if you wish to adventure with the great Ulysses on a budget.

Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of Osborne House  (2010)

The not-so-mysterious Mystery of Osborne House can be mildly entertaining, but its run-of-the-mill puzzles and weak plot make for a fairly average Sherlock Holmes adventure.

Mystery Case Files: The Malgrave Incident  (2011)

When the dust settles, the Wii-exclusive Malgrave Incident proves distinctly inferior to its PC predecessors apart from its multiplayer functionality.

The Rockin’ Dead  (2011)

It’s an intriguing novelty for a while, but even stereoscopic 3D can’t raise The Rockin’ Dead completely up from the story and gameplay failings it’s buried under.

City of Secrets  (2011)

City of Secrets is a memorable adventure game for a few too many wrong reasons, but based on your taste in humor and tolerance for confusing puzzles, it may be worth playing for its weirdness quotient alone.

Back to the Future: Episode 4 - Double Visions  (2011)

The fourth episode feels like a trip back in time with a bland storyline that treads familiar territory and fails to overcome the uninspiring gameplay.

Dream Chronicles: The Book of Air  (2010)

Rather than rising above its predecessors, The Book of Air is so short and uninspired it feels like a step back for the series.

Quantumnauts: Chapter 1 - Speed of Light, Space Pirates and Multiverses  (2010)

Quantumnauts is an initially interesting sci-fi adventure that is ultimately let down by its lack of polish, though it may be worth a look if you’re interested in affordable adventure alternatives.

AlternativA  (2010)

AlternativA initially manages to impress with its unusually dark themes and derelict world, but there are just too many shortcomings to make it a memorable game.

Jekyll & Hyde  (2010)

There’s an entertaining and immersive game lurking inside Jekyll & Hyde, but it’s hidden behind a dated presentation and clumsy platform controls.

Alchemia  (2009)

It looks nice on the surface, but this is one alchemical experiment that produces as much of an unsatisfying mess as an enjoyable experience.

Doctor Who: The Adventure Games - Episode One: City of the Daleks  (2010)

Fans of the show are likely to get some kicks controlling the Doctor and Amy, but the gameplay is far too simple and repetitive to hold up as an enjoyable interactive experience.
