Best rated Adventure Games for Mac page 34

Below you'll find an overview of Adventure Games that have received a very high rating based on our reviews, the list is sorted based on highest rated Adventure Game first combined with recency of the review we've done.

Corto Maltese: Secrets of Venice  (2014)

Hugo Pratt’s title character is nicely represented through collectible memorabilia and original artwork, but Corto Maltese: Secrets of Venice fails to deliver an engaging story or gameplay experience worthy of its source material.

Doorways: The Underworld  (2014)

With three chapters down and one to go, the Doorways series still lacks the kind of compelling story or gameplay needed for a successful horror game.

Catmouth Island: Episode 1  (2014)

With little more to offer than superficial weirdness and pretty polygons in this series debut, it’s best to wait and see where Catmouth Island goes before investing any time in this underwhelming adventure.

Dream Chamber  (2013)

Dream Chamber feels like a game born out of good ideas that lost their way and were abandoned halfway through, leaving a curious collection of ill-fitting pieces in the opening installment.

Alone in the Park  (2011)

Alone in the Park offers a different approach to treasure hunting, though it’s anything but a pleasant, annoyance-free afternoon stroll.

Anna - Extended Edition  (2012)

The Extended Edition of Anna is a definite improvement over the original, though there’s still nothing that really jumps out for horror fans (except for the now-dangerous poltergeists).

Puzzle Agent 2  (2011)

Puzzle Agent 2 takes a disappointing step backward, failing to resolve key criticisms from the first instalment whilst introducing new problems of its own.

Space Quest 6: Roger Wilco in the Spinal Frontier  (1995)

Though Roger Wilco fanatics may manage to find something to love here, most other players can safely skip the final entry in the Space Quest franchise.

The Tiny Bang Story  (2011)

The Tiny Bang Story looks absolutely stunning and shows glimpses of promise, but it’s ultimately overshadowed by poor story development and puzzle progression.

Hotel  (2010)

Hotel may interest fans of dark conspiracies and ancient secrets, but there are plenty of better, similar adventures around.

Pahelika: Secret Legends  (2009)

Falling well short of its intended challenge of the ages, Pahelika comes off more as a limited puzzle-based diversion for an afternoon.

RHEM 2  (2005)

Unless you're already a die-hard fan of Myst clones, RHEM 2 is probably not the game for you.

The Labyrinth of Time  (1993)

The Labyrinth of Time is a mediocre maze adventure, whose good points are undermined by design flaws.

RHEM  (2003)

A long-winded Myst-like puzzle game that will likely appeal to the hardcore gamer only.

RedJack: Revenge of the Brethren  (1998)

A missed opportunity, but an entertaining romp nonetheless if you can look past the shortcomings.

Starship Titanic  (1998)

Unless you\'re a die-hard Douglas Adams fan, don\'t waste your time; Myst clones can be much better than this.

Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster  (1995)

A solid adventure title with several nice qualities and two fatal flaws. Try it if mazes don’t drive you too crazy.

Nancy Drew: Secrets Can Kill  (1998)

Not a bad first effort, but not a success. Hopefully the next game will be better.
