The Lion’s Song  (2017)

Well-versed in early 1900s Viennese culture, The Lion’s Song practically plays itself, so the main draw of this four-part interactive anthology is its beautiful sense of time and place.

The Lion’s Song: Episode 1 - Silence  (2016)

Well-versed in early 1900s Viennese culture, The Lion’s Song practically plays itself, so the main draw of this four-part interactive anthology is its beautiful sense of time and place.

The Lion’s Song: Episode 2 - Anthology  (2016)

Well-versed in early 1900s Viennese culture, The Lion’s Song practically plays itself, so the main draw of this four-part interactive anthology is its beautiful sense of time and place.

Return to Zork  (1993)

Return to Zork is a truly unique classic with a vast reservoir of hidden lore to discover, though the graphics have not aged well and its puzzles are arguably the most difficult in point-and-click history. This is not a game that wants to be beaten, it is a game designed to beat you.

Lamplight City  (2018)

With stunning visuals, solid sound and music, and nuanced worldbuilding that many adventure games would kill for, it’s unfortunate that Lamplight City is lacking in the one area that distinguishes games over other storytelling media: interactivity.

Dead Secret  (2016)

Dead Secret is a short-but-fairly-sweet mystery that manages to be engaging and even a little scary despite being fairly easy for experienced adventure detectives.

The Thin Silence  (2018)

While it takes a few narrative missteps, The Thin Silence oozes raw emotion as it courageously bares the suffocating reality of depression and loneliness, yet still manages to be a fairly entertaining game in its own right.

The St Christopher’s School Lockdown  (2017)

Its interesting story and characters are the highlights of The St Christopher’s School Lockdown, though a lack of polish and some questionable design decisions prevent them from shining quite as brightly as they might.
