Review of Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments by FearlessAdventurer

neat

got the PS4 version on sale some weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised. graphics, voice acting and sound all together deliver some great atmosphere.
you have to solve six different cases, mostly solid whodunits, some shorter some longer. the ending was a bit abrupt and not 100 percent satisfying, but the overall experience was fun enough to forgive that.
the gameplay offers quite some variety; lock-picking, interrogating, quicktime events (just a few), etc. the puzzles are not hard, but hey, at least there are real puzzles. many modern adventures with console versions in mind don’t offer any puzzles at all anymore.
nothing wrong with the controls either, very fluid, especially when you switch to first person perspective.

ps: no idea, how long it took me exactly, but i guess about 10-12 hours.
