Review of The Curse of Monkey Island by CaptainRottingham

A bold statement, and nearly impossible to substantiate.  I’ll justify it by saying, of all the adventure games I’ve played, including all the Monkeys, all the LA titles, all the Sierra titles, Curse is the game that excited me the most when I first played it, excites me just as much 15 years later when I play it, and STILL gets me excited with new things about it.  It is the funniest, cleverest, best looking, best play-interfaced, best puzzled, best dialogued, best graphixed, and without question best scored game I’ve ever played.  It is the complete package.  It is not the original in a series, it didn’t break any ground with regard to any one specific technological advancement.  It was instead, the glorious beneficiary of a million other first tries, and the single greatest example of all of them.  I’m not religious at all, but God bless the mother!@#$ers who made this masterpiece.
