Review of Still Life by Niclas

First I must say that there are so many things that I love about this game. The story, the atmosphere, the music, the environments. The game actually got so much of what I like to have in an Adventure Game. There are actually some puzzles that were quite fun, BUT there are so many boring stand alone puzzles in the game that drove me nuts. For instance there are several slider puzzles, one annoying lock picking puzzle, one maze,  one cookie baking puzzle where you have to rely on outside game world information, and one major irritating timed puzzle were you control a robot through a laser field. C’mon!!!!! These type of puzzles are what I hate in adventure games. It is a shame with a game with this kind of epic story and atmosphere. However there are also some fun and challenging puzzles beside the ones mentioned above. I would have easily given this game a 4.5 if it wasn’t for the irritating puzzles that I mentioned above.
