What a lost little big gem

This game is really not that known compared to it’s younger real-time strategy sibling that completely overshadowed it. You basically play the story of the first book, being yound Paul Atreides that just arrived with his family to the Desert planet. As you discover the royal palace and the planet, the story starts slowly unraveling. First half of the game is discovering you abilities and estabilishing connections with the planet’s natives, the Fremen. You must also fill quota of spice mining to send to the emperor. Second half is more strategic, as you fight over planet teritorries with evil Harkonnen. The graphics are just beautiful, some characters are clearly based on Lynch’s movie while others are unique and i personally think better than the theatrical version (f.e. Thuffir, Emperor, Fremen in general with their unique hair and beard styles). Really a joy to play!
