Mishmash of ideas and intolerably boring
It feels like the developers were at odds on what this game was meant to be. I can see there were some good ideas amid this mishmash and I do like the music and style. But I found all the reading and aimless wandering to be an intolerable chore.
I tried to persist, hoping my laborious efforts would pay off, but it was too draining and had to give up.
