Unleashing Heroes: The Journey Begins with EVERCORE Heroes’ Closed Beta

EVERCORE Heroes: A Unique PvP and PvE Experience

Evercore Heroes, a unique and competitive PvE game, is set to commence its closed beta on June 20th. The game is developed by Vela Games, a studio formed by industry veterans from Riot, EA, Epic, and Blizzard. It's set in the fascinating, science-fiction world of Lumerea, home to a variety of fantastic cultures living together until an event known as "The Shattering." The disruption of the natural flow of magic has led to chaos spreading across Lumerea, and heroes must rise to face this challenge as a team.

In Evercore Heroes, players form squads of heroes and battle to prove they are the best in the world. Four teams of four players face off against one another in a new PvE session-based experience. The gameplay involves upgrading heroes, charging an "Evercore," and defeating a hazardous boss to win. Each hero comes with their own special abilities and attributes, and players can choose from a range of them to fight in various environments, from freezing forests and snowy peaks to deep jungles and magical gardens.

Upcoming Closed Beta and Pre-orders

Players can pre-order the game at the Evercore Heroes store, which guarantees access to the closed beta and secures exclusive content. By pre-ordering before June 20th, players will receive an exclusive skin for the hero Beko. Depending on the tier of purchase, players will also receive additional heroes. All players will receive the heroes Beko, Fyn, Shade, and Zari for free upon logging into the game when live. The game will only be available on PC for the closed beta.

The game also offers a Founder's Battle Pass, which includes exclusive Evercore-themed skins, emotes, hero voice lines, and in-game currencies. The Battle Pass will never expire for Founders, meaning they can complete it at their leisure by playing the game to unlock all the content. A free Battle Pass will also be available for everyone playing during the closed beta period, but this one will expire afterward.

The World of Lumerea and Gameplay Stages

As for the game's stages, each one in Evercore Heroes is its own self-contained adventure with unique gameplay elements, enemies, objectives, power-up items, and a distinct final challenge. The closed beta will feature three stages, but more will be added in the future. For instance, one stage is set in Kru Mines, a location in the mountains of Kru, where a beast has taken over an essential mining settlement. Another stage is the Battle for Whiskerwood Village, where teams must protect the Evercore while shutting down monster nests.

EVERCORE Heroes releasing on Steam?

One common question potential players might have is, "Will EVERCORE Heroes be released on Steam?" The answer to that is no. EVERCORE Heroes will not be released on Steam. Instead, the game will be distributed through its own lightweight launcher. This proprietary launcher has been battle-tested in previous closed alpha tests to ensure a smooth experience for players. The decision to use a dedicated launcher allows the development team to have direct control over the distribution and updates of the game. It also helps foster a close-knit community around the game, providing a platform for updates, announcements, and player interaction.

Remember, the closed beta for EVERCORE Heroes begins on June 20, and you can pre-order the game now to secure your spot and gain access to exclusive content. It's important to note that the closed beta will operate in North America and Europe. While players from other regions may be eligible to purchase and play, the game servers will only be located in these two regions, which may affect individual network performance.

Players can visit the official Evercore Heroes website and the game's store for more information. The developers have yet to announce the official release date of the free-to-play version of Evercore Heroes.
