The Great Ocean: A High-Tech ROV Adventure

Indie game developer and publisher Actrio Studio has announced their Kickstarter campaign for The Great Ocean, a high-tech ROV submarine adventure game, is nearly 50% funded. The campaign was launched in celebration of Earth Day and aims to bring the game to Steam. The game was also presented at the game meet UBA event at the German Federal Environment Agency.

The Great Ocean takes players on an adventure into the earth's oceans, visiting real ocean locations and solving real environmental problems. Players will explore the waters in a high-tech ROV, visiting areas like the Galapagos, the Arctic, and the Deep Sea while using upgradeable tools to solve quests. Missions in each level are based around exploration and discovery of real sunken submarines, WW2 battleship wrecks, Deep Sea creatures, and Caribbean coral reefs.

Players will also have the opportunity to take action to help the underwater world by freeing or healing fish, building new coral reefs, removing trash, and gathering evidence for crimes against Ocean Health. Players will contribute to protecting and saving the oceans with each completed mission. The game features hours of gameplay with a personal story, significant interaction, and challenging quests with a global leaderboard.

The Kickstarter campaign is still open for those who want to support the game and help bring it to Steam.

The Great Ocean is an exciting new game that combines adventure and environmentalism to create a unique gaming experience. With real-life impact and the opportunity to contribute to the protection of our oceans, The Great Ocean is a game that is both entertaining and educational. The game is available for support on Kickstarter and will be available on Steam in the future.
