The Expanse: A Telltale Series gets new trailer

Telltale Games has released a new trailer for its upcoming adventure game, The Expanse: A Telltale Series. The game will take players on a journey into the uncharted edges of The Belt aboard The Artemis, with Cara Gee reprising her role as Camina Drummer.

The Expanse is a popular sci-fi series based on the novels of James S. A. Corey. The show is set in a future where humanity has colonized the solar system, leading to a tense political climate between Earth, Mars, and the Belt. The series is known for its high production values and compelling characters, which has garnered a devoted fanbase. Telltale's The Expanse: A Telltale Series will bring players into this rich and detailed world, where they will experience the story from the perspective of Camina Drummer, a prominent character in the series.

The game will be made possible in part by a recent investment of $8m in Telltale, as part of a Series A funding round led by Hiro Capital, with additional participation from Skybound Entertainment. The funding will go towards the launch of The Expanse: A Telltale Series, slated for this summer, as well as the development of The Wolf Among Us 2 and another unannounced title.

Telltale has previously collaborated with Skybound for its popular Walking Dead series of games, which were brought back to storefronts in 2020 after the studio's closure in 2018. Fans can look forward to diving into the universe of The Expanse like never before, with Telltale's signature adventure game style bringing the show's characters and locations to life.
