Desolatium: Unravel Lovecraftian Mysteries
Desolatium, a new Lovecraftian graphic adventure game, is set to release on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch this year. The game, developed by Spanish studio Superlumen and published by SOEDESCO, was first announced in August last year. The first-person point and click game features thrilling new key art to set the stage for the mysterious adventure.
A free-to-play demo of Desolatium was released on Steam in October. In the game, players investigate the disappearance of a friend through the eyes of four different characters, each with their unique characteristics. The game features levels based on real-world locations in 360º, ambisonics audio, and a unique comic-like art style.
The Lovecraftian mythos and creatures from the author's works make their presence known throughout the game as players uncover the truth behind the mysterious 'old ones.' With four different characters to play as, each with their mechanics, Desolatium offers an immersive and thrilling adventure for fans of the point-and-click genre and Lovecraftian lore.
