Kickstarter Campaign launched for Hand-Painted Adventure Game “The Adventures of Bryan Scott”

Radio Silence Studios has launched a Kickstarter campaign for The Adventures of Bryan Scott, a hand-painted point-and-click adventure inspired by classic games such as Broken Sword and Deponia. The game follows the story of Bryan Scott, son of late archaeologist John W. Scott, who receives a diary from the missing treasure hunter Kate Williams containing information about the legendary treasure of the Queen of Sheba. Bryan then travels to the city of Aksum to follow Kate's trail and find her, but he soon discovers he's not the only one searching for the treasure.

The game features a fully voiced demo in English and German with subtitles in seven languages: Spanish, French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Polish. The demo is available on Steam and itch.io; through the Kickstarter you can easily access it. The Kickstarter campaign aims to gather support from adventure game fans to help Radio Silence Studios complete and polish the game to a professional level of quality.

Adventure game fans are in for a treat, with The Adventures of Bryan Scott promising to take players on an immersive journey across exotic locations around the world, complete with an intriguing storyline and well-developed characters. The game is set to be released on PC, Mac, and Linux platforms and will feature a distinctive hand-painted style, inspired by the classic adventure games of yesteryear. The Kickstarter campaign, which aims to raise funds to complete the game and bring it to a broader audience, has already received an initially favorable response from backers (largely thanks to the demo), with many praising its nostalgic charm and attention to detail.

"The Adventures of Bryan Scott is shaping up to be a fabulous game, full of intrigue and wit, with all the charm of a traditional point and click but beautifully displayed in high resolution, and an excellent musical score," said Charles Cecil, founder of Revolution Software. "Having the voice of the wonderful Rolf Saxon as Bryan, and even including a Broken Sword poster on the wall, charmed me even more. I am so excited to play the finished game!"

With industry veterans such as Charles Cecil excited about the project and the demo already garnering positive reviews, it's clear that The Adventures of Bryan Scott has the potential to become a beloved addition to the adventure game genre. Adventure game enthusiasts and newcomers alike are encouraged to back the Kickstarter campaign and join Bryan on his journey to uncover the legendary treasure of the Queen of Sheba.
