Lost in Play tumbles onto PC

When a child’s imagination runs wild, you might hear their parents say, “They’re off in their own little world.” In Happy Juice’s Lost in Play, players will get the chance to re-experience an epic childhood fantasy firsthand.

Touted as a “mysterious animated puzzle adventure,” Lost in Play tells the story of a “brother and sister, living alone on the outskirts of society” embarking on a “journey through imaginary and surreal landscapes.” In a realm “between fantasy and reality,” the pair’s play session sees them “encounter magical and magnificent creatures such as a horned beast, a giant stork, magical seaweed, friendly frogs, travelling goblins and many more.”

Developer Happy Juice states the game will feature over thirty unique and “thoughtfully crafted” puzzles and mini games. These include playing cards with goblins, building a dragon, and teaching sheep how to fly. There is no dialogue in the game, with everything instead being “communicated visually in a universal way.”

With its bouncy cartoon visuals, Happy Juice states that Lost in Play “will make you feel like you’re playing a cartoon!” Lost in Play is a “story meant for all,” and Happy Juice promises it will be a game “the family can enjoy together.”

Lost in Play launches today, August 10th, for Windows via Steam.
