Get Together goes public on PC and mobile devices

Puzzle-centric adventures may not be the first things that come to mind when considering social get-togethers, but more and more new titles are focusing on a co-op experience made for two. The latest such example is Studio Sterneck's appropriately named Get Together, which is now available on PC and mobile devices.

The game stars a black-and-white rabbity-looking character – or rather, two versions of the same black-and-white rabbity-looking character after this "luckless explorer" becomes "split in two." Now separated in an "otherworldly environment full of unsolved mysteries and forgotten stories," the protagonist(s) need help from not one but two players in order to "overcome whatever obstacles [block the] path of a successful reunion."

Presented in a lovely hand-painted art style, the side-scrolling Get Together is a "communication-based puzzle adventure" in which each player controls their own avatar on their own device. As you encounter "mind-bending puzzles with strange and unfamiliar symbols to solve," you'll need to compare and contrast the "similarities and differences between your worlds" by sharing what you see in order to succeed, as "all the puzzles are designed so that each player only has parts to the solution."

Produced with support from MFG, a German regional games fund, Get Together is available now to download on Steam for Windows PC, and the App Store for iOS, with an Android version on Google Play to follow soon. Two purchases are required, though each can be bought and played on the platform of your choice.
