Silt forming for 2022 release

The ocean is fascinating to explore but the deeper you go, the darker and more dangerous a place it can be. Fortunately you'll have a unique ability to help you survive its perils in Spiral Circus's upcoming monochromatic adventure, Silt.

Players will slip into the wet suit of a deep-sea diver in pursuit of "long-forgotten mysteries" submersed in a watery abyss. Here in the "depths of a surreal oceanic void," you will encounter "stunning underwater vistas and discover strange creatures, unexplored ruins and ancient machinery hidden in the deep." But beware the dangerous denizens so many fathoms down, as this is a place "where nature has evolved into increasingly bizarre forms in order to survive." 

Presented in a "haunting" black-and-white art style, this "harrowing journey beneath the water's surface" sends players ever deeper into its highly atmospheric, almost otherwordly environment. In order to solve a variety of environmental puzzles along the way and live to tell the tale, you must employ your special ability to "possess diverse and distinctive sea creatures to make use of their unique abilities." You'll even come face to face with "giant deep sea goliaths" whose power is able to "awaken a long-dormant force at the centre of the abyss."

There is no target release date just yet, but Silt has been in development for several years already and is expected to be launched on Steam for Windows PC sometime in early 2022.
