Twilight Path leads to VR release

Last year Charm Games gave us FORM, an abstract virtual reality puzzler set largely in a world of darkness filled with mechanical devices. For their next act, the indie developer has turned on the lights for more a more fantastical adventure, the newly-released Twilight Path

The game sends players on an "otherworldly journey to meet wandering spirits, enchanted sentries and mischievous gods." You'll awaken to find yourself in a mystical spirit realm "between the real world and the afterlife," and in order to escape you will need to "use your wits to solve VR puzzles, reshape and restore massive stone structures, open sealed passageways, and rescue a host of magical creatures from danger."

Twilight Path features a much more fully-realized world than the previous game, with architecture clearly influenced by Asian culture. Despite the dramatic change in aesthetic, however, the game promises to "stay true to the core gameplay" of its predecessor, focusing on "satisfying VR puzzles that unlock a path through a gorgeous and vibrant world." The experience is being designed for a wide audience, with "no timers, no death [or] uncomfortable movement" to restrict accessibility.

A VR-exclusive, Twilight Path is available now on Steam for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
