The Walking Dead: 400 Days begins rising across multiple platforms

School may be out, but this is no time to rest your brains, as the zombies are coming after them once again in The Walking Dead: 400 Days.

The downloadable expansion to the Aggie Award-winning first season of The Walking Dead is not a continuation of Lee and Clementine's story, but rather an all-new chapter taking place in the same general area. 400 Days tells five distinct short stories, each presenting "the apocalypse through the eyes of a different survivor."

Whether or not you can purchase the game just yet depends on where you are and what platform you'll be playing the game on. 400 Days launched yesterday exclusively in North America on the PlayStation Network, and will be released today for PC and Mac. The schedule for upcoming releases includes:

Friday, July 5th - Xbox Live Marketplace (Worldwide)
Wednesday, July 10th - PlayStation Network (SCEE, Europe)
Thursday, July 11th - iOS App Store (In-App Purchase, Worldwide)

Those who purchase(d) the full first season directly from Telltale will receive the game free of charge, while those who bought the season elsewhere (and owning Season One is a requirement to play 400 Days) can purchase it in-game for $4.99 USD or the equivalent.
