Forever Lost now found exclusively on iOS platforms

Point-and-click adventures are slowly but surely becoming "point-and-tap" instead, as more and more games are released for iOS platforms. The latest to join the mobile ranks is Forever Lost, a new episodic series from indie developer Glitch Games.

In Forever Lost, you awaken with no memory of your past and no clue to your identity, just a locked room with a box labeled "look inside" to greet you. Inside is a puzzle, and it soon becomes clear that you are "the main pawn in a wicked game. Everything appears to have been staged to test your ability and breaking point, but why?"

As seen in the game's launch trailer, Forever Lost takes place inside an abandoned hospital-like environment. As you explore deeper into the facility, you'll discover evidence of previous "prisoners", and the "intense isolation just adds to your fear and confusion. The hospital reeks of a sinister past, with strange scrawlings on the walls referencing 'the end' and 'sculpting mankind'."

The game promises 40 plus scenes to explore and a host of puzzles that vary in both style and complexity, which should add up to roughly five hours of gameplay. Episode 1 is available now at the App Store for both iPad and iPhone/iPod touch for a mere 99 cents.

The complete Forever Lost story will be told across three or four different installments, each building on the events of the one previous. There is no firm timeline yet for future episodes, but the developers are hoping to complete the next episode within the next four months or so.
