The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav breaks loose for download

If you've been keeping your own dark eye on Daedalic's latest fantasy adventure, the wait is now over, as The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav is now available for purchase and download.

Based on the popular German tabletop RPG series, The Dark Eye puts players in the lowly shoes of a young bird catcher named Geron.  As a child, Geron was named by a prophet about to be executed as the one who would bring doom to the kingdom of Andergast, and has been ostracized ever since.  Many years later, when his hometown is overrun by a flock of hostile crows, Geron sees a chance to prove himself and restore his reputation.  But when the town's celebrated heroes are "found dead and with eyes picked out rumors spread throughout the city. Many believe that the ghost of the Seer has finally returned to take revenge. And of course many believe Geron to be the reason for these dark signs... And so Geron gets entangled into a story that will prove to be of greater importance than he could ever have expected."

The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav is currently available only as a download in English, and can be found at such portals as The Adventure Shop and GamersGate, with a Steam release to follow shortly.
