Fenimore Fillmore rides into UK shops with a vengeance
The Wild West comes to the United Kingdom today, as Nobilis and Ascaron have announced that Fenimore Fillmore's Revenge is now shipping to retailers.
Following the earlier tales and travails of Fenimore Fillmore in 3 Skulls of the Toltecs and Wanted/The Westerner, the once-wannabe cowboy has grown up some in this latest installment. The new game forsakes the comic look and style of the earlier games for a more series, and allows players to control both Fenimore and his girlfriend Rhiannon at times. When the two learn of a hidden treasure that's sought after by a local gang, they're immediately attacked, with Rhiannon kidnapped and Fenimore shot and left for dead. But dead he's not, and it's up to players to help reunite the two and find the loot before the bad guys. Along the way are a variety of puzzles to overcome and a smattering of shootout sequences, giving players a chance to test out their trigger fingers as well as their wits.
Fenimore Fillmore's Revenge should be appearing on store shelves in the UK soon. There's no word yet on the possibility of a North American release of the game.
