Casebook opened again with launch of The Watcher
First came Kidnapped, then came the glory of the 2008 Aggie Award for Best Independent Adventure, and now players can finally jump into the second episode of the Casebook series, The Watcher.
In this new installment, players must investigate what seems at first to be a routine suicide case, as a young man is found dead beneath his broken apartment window. A little snooping, however, suggests there's more to the case than meets the eye, in more ways than one. A video camera in the window suggests the man was watching his Skylark Apartment neighbours. Did he see something he shouldn't; something that cost him his life? To find out, players must "explore the rooms, figure out who's lying and who's just stretching the truth. Because in a place like this, you'd be crazy to take things at face value..."
The Watcher is available for purchase and download only at the official website, for a cost of $15. A trailer of the new episode can also be found on the site, offering a video sampling of what lies in store.
