Cameras roll on Strong Bad, as Dangeresque 3 coming soon

Try to follow me here... Today's Strong Bad news is a story about movies about a movie that's really a game. If that's clear as mud, then you're all set to watch not one, not two, but four videos released in preparation for the November 17th launch of Episode 4, Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective.

As many Homestarrunner.com fans know, Strong Bad has long been promising "Dangeresque 3", the next installment of his low-budget (and decidedly low-brow) action movie series, to be written, directed, and starring himself. At last he'll be doing just that in Telltale's latest adventure, in which the masked grouch and his pals step in front of the camera once again. A shaky, homemade movie-quality camera at that, complemented by butchered editing, blown lines, and dodgy special effects. This is Strong Bad, after all.

In this movie-inside-a-game, Strong Bad's nunchuckgun-toting alter ego faces his toughest case yet, as "what starts as a simple job to recover a long-lost formula morphs into a high-stakes race to save the world from certain destruction at the hands of Dangeresque's unhinged nemesis, Uzi Bazooka."

The videos now available include both a cinematic and gameplay trailer, plus the original cartoon-only Dangeresque 1 and Dangeresque II. All these movies and more Dangeresque goodies will soon be available at the Dangeresque 3 website, though at the time of writing, the website's features aren't yet fully implemented.

Meanwhile, in preparing fans for Dangeresque 3, Telltale also dropped a teasing tidbit today in revealing that the one-armed, fire-breathing Trogdor will appear in the "burninating" season finale of SBCG4AP, due next month.
