The Adventure Company seasons Sam & Max episodes

Sam & Max were our monthly companions starting in October 2006 and just when you thought they were taking a vacation, they'll soon hit the streets again. The six downloadable episodes of Season One began with Culture Shock and concluded last month with the release of Bright Side of the Moon, and next the canine shamus and hyperkinetic lagomorph will be heading to CD-ROM with a few extras in tow.

The Adventure Company/JoWooD have just revealed the details of their Sam & Max: Season One package. Not to be confused with Telltale Games' own full season DVD announcement, TAC's release will ship to major retailers complete with all six episodes plus a full-sized color poster by Steve Purcell and a bonus CD with additional goodies. The extras include a brand new behind-the-scenes "Making of Sam & Max" video, trailers, in-depth character biographies, concept art, desktop wallpapers and an MP3 music sampler.

All of this Sam & Max goodness descends into stores in August 2007 where the expected retail price will be $29.99/€29.99. If you just can't get enough Sam & Max and happen to frequent EB Games or Gamestop, both stores are offering a Sam & Max: Season One strategy guide free with preorders.
