An adventure game titled Osawar Tantei Ozawa Rina is in development for the Nintendo DS. It is of the pure point-and-click variety, featuring handdrawn backgrounds combined with pre-rendered 3D characters. It has an interesting art style that appears very different from other DS adventures like Another Code and Phoenix Wright.
Since this news comes straight from the game's Japanese website, details are a little sketchy. Apparently the story follows a young girl named Ozawa Rina, who investigates people's dreams or "paths".
Osawar Tantei Ozawa Rina's Japanese release will be in April. It is not yet known if the game will see a European or North-American release, but given the number of odd Japanese Nintendo titles making it accross the oceans as of late, it doesn't seem entirely unlikely.
