Twelve new screenshots from Rhem 2

Got Game Entertainment today announced July 14, 2005 as the release date for Knut Mueller's "Myst-ish" Rhem 2. The game will be available for PC and Mac, and rejoins Zetais and Kales as they now explore a hidden city in underground caves far beneath the earth’s surface.

During the game, the two will venture ever deeper down in the earth, solving puzzles in a non-linear gaming environment, while searching for the enigmatic artifact that must be found before returning to the surface.

The original Rhem was released in 2003, and was told to have "lots of exploration and some cool puzzles to be sure, but unless you consider wandering around similarly textured environments and that creased copy of Crossword in your bathroom an adventure, you’ll likely be disappointed", according to our reviewer.
