Quantic Dream cuts ties with Vivendi
In a Tuesday news update on their official web site, Fahrenheit publisher Quantic Dream announced that the company and publisher Vivendi Universal have terminated their publishing agreement. The French developer put a positive spin on the decision, the motives for which were not mentioned, saying that it "enables Quantic Dream to pursue the development of the game on its own".
Apparently, the developer has already been contacted by other companies and will announce their new publisher on November 30. Whether this news will affect the last-projected February release date for PC is unclear, but if Quantic Dream in fact already has a new publisher lined up, delays shouldn't be a concern.
The game is in development for PC, PS2, and Xbox. For more information on the title, check out our previous coverage, and keep reading the Adventure Gamers news.
