The extensively named General Coffee Company Film Productions announced today the release of their new adventure game, Future Boy! Unlike most adventures being released these days, the game is a text adventure featuring hand-drawn illustrations. GCCFP calls an "interactive comic book".
Future Boy! puts the player in the role of the titular superhero's roommate, who must find a way to defeat a criminal mastermind when Future Boy himself is taken captive.
While we haven't heard too much about the game leading up to its release, it sounds worth checking out. The official website has more information, a demo, screenshots, a trailer, and a link to purchase the game. Future Boy! runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, BeOS, PalmOS, and Pocket PC operating systems, and the CD-rom includes features such as director's commentary and an art book in PDF format.
The game sells for US$19.99 or US$24.99 for the Deluxe CD-ROM Package, which includes a jewel case and insert booklet.
