Her Interactive to develop Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys game
Her Interactive, developers of the acclaimed Nancy Drew adventure games, announced today that they have acquired the interactive licensing rights to develop a PC adventure game based on that other legendary detective series, The Hardy Boys.
The game will be based on the Simon & Schuster Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys: Super Mystery Series, and will bring the characters of Nancy Drew and Frank & Joe Hardy together for the first time in an interactive media environment. The game is currently scheduled for a Fall 2005 release.
Her Interactive has recently released their tenth Nancy Drew game, Secret of Shadow Ranch, to great success, and the eleventh in the series is planned for a fall release (we'll have a review of Shadow Ranch here at Adventure Gamers next week).
