Latest Midnight Nowhere reviews (updated)

Realgamer has just reviewed the horror themed Midnight Nowhere, giving it a score of 7.2/10:

"...Midnight Nowhere offers a decent challenge to anyone who is a fan of adventure and exploration rather than action and offers stimulating puzzles and an intriguing storyline to back it all up. Controls are pretty easy to use and the environments are interesting enough to make you want to explore further. My only complaint is more of a complaint against the genre as a whole it’s hard looking for something when you have no idea what it is you need! On the whole, a good game but when it says it’s for people aged 16+, it means it!"

PlayXcess also has a review, with a score of 7/10:

"[Midnight Nowhere] is a dark and mostly capable game that will certainly appeal to a more patient (and mature) gamer who enjoys both the adventure genre, and all things macabre. True, at times events can feel a little forced and ‘try hard’, but the lingering malaise at the core of the game is riveting, and very in keeping with films such as Se7en. Despite some confusion and general oddity of content, this will keep any point and click fan both happy and disturbed until the end. And remember; terrifying and morbid as MN may be; it is a pantomime compared to the leering and satanic monkey in Samba de Amigo."

UPDATED 4/2/04: Gamespot's review gave Midnight Nowhere a score of 6.3/10.
