Updated: New previews

GameSpy has posted an informative preview on Uru: Ages Beyond Myst.

The biggest difference this time around, according to Cyan's CEO, Rand Miller, (one of the creators of the original game), is that players will be able to enjoy not only the "off-the-shelf game," but can continue the adventure online and actually experience Uru with thousands of other players. Uru won't be yet another massively multiplayer world where leveling up is the key goal, though. In fact, there is no leveling of any kind. Nor is it just a glorified chat room, like The Sims Online, just set on a mysterious island. Instead, Uru is a game of leisurely exploration for many, similar to the way the original MYST was a dreamy journey.

Update: Gamers.com has previewed Microïds upcoming Syberia 2.
