Sierra to change owners once again?

Vivendi Universal is considering to sell its game companies Sierra, Blizzard and Universal Interactive. Vivendi is trying to deal with its 15 billion dollar debt and is currently reorganising. While the previous Vivendi big cheese believed the game companies to be part of its core business, the new chief executive Jean-Rene Fourtou disagrees dispite the 600 million dollar profit earned by the three game companies combined. "Jean-Rene Fourtou, hasn't yet formally decided on such a sale and continues to weigh other options," says a report on Yahoo!. "But he has identified the videogame business as noncore and expendable."
